What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
New projects and new ventures
Life is now heading toward a place of solid satisfaction. Expect a feeling of success -- both inner and outer -- to take hold soon. Concentrate now on practical organization ... and have confidence that you will manifest concrete, tangible, practical results ... acquiring something you want -- or something you have been working to achieve -- in the next few days.
This may be a new possession, a new source of income, an advancement in your professional life, the arrival of additional assets and resources, or the start of a new project designed to create something "real" in the physical sense ... and of value on many levels.
If you use this right, it could represent a step up in lifestyle for you, a better way of supplying yourself with material goods, a different way of approaching your financial and economic issues ... and, in the end, a healthier and more prosperous way to live.
An additional thought to ponder:
The chance ... and ability ... to create something real in the world is too precious a gift from God to ever waste.

Give, and it will be given to you.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Rediscovering joy
Expect to get a wake-up call in the next few days ... demonstrating how you are drifting, wasting time, being irresponsible, not using your talents, feeling sorry for yourself, being pessimistic, lazy, and generally indulging your Inner Victim. That realization, of course, is the first step toward standing up, adjusting your attitude, and putting yourself back in charge of you inner creative life and your emotional well-being again.
You may encounter this energy "by example," too ... through an encounter with someone else who acts this out for your benefit ... and education. If you find yourself dealing with someone living in a world of his own, running away from reality through counter-productive strategies, complaining that nobody loves him and that he never gets a break ... and using these excuses to continue mucking his way through life -- you've got a cautionary tale unfolding right before your eyes.
Be sure you're not buying into some of the same futile tactics, and be doubly sure you're not playing the part of the "patsy" ... helping somebody else stay on this pointless merry-go-round with endless offers of "help," money, understanding, advice, and sympathy.
An additional thought to ponder:
Do you know what it takes for you to be happy? Many people don't. Even the structure of our language seems to put that state outside ourselves somehow. We speak of something "making" us happy, as if we are passive pawns of circumstance. We're not, and if we stop acting and thinking otherwise, happiness is a lot easier to find.

To be surprised, to wonder, is to begin to understand.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Prejudice and flawed perspectives
You may encounter someone who is a braggart, a trouble-maker, a bully, -- someone sly, cunning, dishonest, and downright mean. This person may have connections to your business, economic situation, sources of income, professional transactions, investments, purchases, or possessions.
You certainly need to protect yourself from this person when you meet. But getting into a fight may only convince him (or her!) how valid his view of the world really is ... and remember, he's not apt to be logically argued out of ideas he wasn't argued into logically in the first place.
An extra piece of advice:
Stress, patience, tact, and clear thinking don't always come in the same bundle. It's easy to be snappish when you're overloaded and under pressure. You're apt to say something quick and hurtful without thinking ... or just to ease the pressure you feel. It's an understandable response, but that doesn't make it fair ... or right.

The meaning of things lies not in the things themselves,
but in our attitude towards them.
