What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Healing injury
What one thing do you regret most in your life? If you can be completely honest with yourself ... were there choices you made to cause it, choices that brought it about, choices you would make differently today -- if you had the chance? Is there, in fact, something you can do about it ... with resolve, or courage, or determination?
Do you need to make amends with anyone? A set of actions and consequences you need to come to terms with? An apology that would ease your conscience ... or somehow improve life?
Is there someone you feel owes this to you? You may have to live with the fact that this person may never "be sorry," will never own up to their behavior, will never try to put things right ... may flat not care how badly he (or she) behaved or how badly you were hurt. Is there anything you can do yet to get past this? Forgive it? (Not forget. Not condone. Not excuse. Not act like "everything's fine again.") But rather, is there a way you can get beyond it so that it no longer hurts, no longer consumes your thoughts and energy, no longer is an issue in your life? The answer may honestly be "No, not yet." But for your own sake, you need to keep looking for ways to make it so. You forgive someone not for his sake, but for yours. You do it to be whole and strong again ... and to able to reclaim your life despite the injury you were caused. You do it to break your ties with the one who injured you ... in order to be yourself again.
An additional thought to ponder:
From Eric Allenbaugh: Yes, there are times when something is legitimately not our fault. Blaming others, however, keeps us in a stuck state and is ultimately rough on our own self-esteem.

A man who has committed a mistake and doesn't correct it
is committing another mistake.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Taking charge and being in control
Over the next few days, expect a time of initiating action, exercising self-control, giving conscious thought to the participation you offer to your important relationships, and taking charge over the direction they -- and your life -- are heading.
An extra piece of advice:
You have a responsibility to direct the course of your relationships -- not let it be the other way around. This doesn't mean you ignore the needs of your partners. But it does mean you retain a clear autonomy over yourself and help produce the resources you need your partnerships to provide for you.

You must be the change you wish to see in the world.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Physical and financial ineptitude
Upcoming events will focus your attention on inefficiencies, mistakes in judgment, and problems affecting your life where someone is not pulling his fair share of the load. You may have to cope with the troubles produced by someone with no "money sense," someone who is always having financial problems, who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, overly status conscious, who wastes his time and talents ... and scoots by through mooching off others.
You absolutely do need to get this energy out of your life. You especially need to do this if this description in any way fits you! The attitudes you will have to handle now place excessive and constant emphasis on physical enjoyment. You may be too focused on gaining material power -- or simply solving chronic economic crises. Or you may be tangled up in a relationship where these are the predominant concerns.
It's not at all a positive place to be. And if you simply find yourself observing such a situation ... and its little educational message ... from the sidelines of life (in other words, you see somebody else having to work through this issue ... while you get to walk away whistling), don't get too cocky. Consider it a cautionary warning of something in your world that may be working away quietly behind your back.
An additional thought to ponder:
Living with a constant sense of lack is deadly to the soul. It robs you of perspective. It reinforces an erroneous message that you have no right to exist and that life is "a constant struggle." It often points to a significant flaw in one's abstract values ... and in life's magical way, correcting one side of that equation will bring the results you want to see on the other.

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow;
They toil not, neither do they spin;
And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory
was not arrayed like one of these.
