What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Closure
It's time to render judgment on some phase, project, relationship, experience, or level of learning in your life ... and bring it to a close in preparation for moving on to something else soon. Indeed, the energy of "passing judgment," rendering a verdict, or finding the kernel of meaning and truth you were meant to acquire as a result of this time in your life that's ending ... is where you need to focus attention for a while.
Along with bringing matters to a close and distilling the value of your effort into something pithy and useful, you can look forward to a time of awakening, renewal, and renaissance. It's possible a change of consciousness can come from this -- for there is a long history of development and participation implied by the appearance of this card and its energy. You may have worked with the "theme" of this time in many different guises and circumstances. Now, you need to define your benefits ... and new wisdom .. and get ready welcome "the next step."
An additional thought to ponder:
Summing up can be a time of rest and hiatus, the figurative sigh of satisfaction that lets you release the old and draw in the new -- just as your controlled breathing does in meditation. Starting a new chapter in a book, a new set of courses in a schedule of study, a new level of responsibilities in your work, or moving on to a more intimate and exciting texture in a relationship can renew and reinvigorate your soul. Savor it all when it comes. This, too, is what life is about.

We dance round in a ring and suppose,
But the Secret sits in the middle and knows.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
A new vision, a new beginning
You are poised on the edge of a new personal awakening with regard to an important relationship in your life. It's time to take stock of who you are, what you want, what you can do, and what you are working to become -- and then reconsider how your relationships fit into that image, and vice versa. New opportunities for greater achievement and expansion are waiting for you to see and act on them. A new level of confidence is taking shape.
In the very near future, you will be invited to step up to a level of awareness in your associations with other people -- perhaps one in particular will be highlighted. You are on the verge of seeing your relationships in a whole new light -- including your role in them and the part your partners play in helping you gain your goals. An essential relationship is about to be born ... or reborn.
This is an incredibly positive and powerful moment -- a new beginning of growth and learning as momentous as the dawn of a new day. Be ready to receive the gifts it brings!!
Today's affirmation:
I am ready for new challenges and new horizons. I am willing and able to become the best I can be.

Following the light of the sun, we left the Old World.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Chilling out
This is a day to let things mellow out as much as possible in your financial life. Don't let little things get under your skin. Don't pick a fight and don't accept invitations to participate in one. Keep a low profile. Look for ways to negotiate, compromise, cooperate, and work through disagreements peacefully. This is a time of truce, integration, renewal, reflection ... and a time to let sleeping dogs lie ... at least for the moment.
It's also a time not to go on any wild spending sprees, to make no immediate or sudden changes in your economic commitments and long-term investments, to lay low and reconsider what you want to change and what you want to accomplish with your money, possessions, sources of income, and other physical assets.
An extra piece of advice:
You may also need to rest from a time of stress and exertion that has put a strain on your body. Your body and mind are resources, too. Also, your energy, your commitment, your sense of responsibility, your time, your skills and abilities ... and you do need to look at them that way. These are, after all, the most basic raw materials you use to support and care for yourself.

Take rest; a field that has rested gives a beautiful crop.
