• Do you routinely give more than you receive? Does this make you feel noble? "More blessed?" Do you consider this "your lot in life?" Has doing extra favors for people gradually become "your job?" Do you feel you simply aren't able to demand and receive fairer treatment? What does this say about your self-image ... and the value you feel you deserve?

• Are you taking unfair advantage of someone? Is there a situation where you're scooting by with a minimum of effort, or are failing to take on your share of work and responsibility? Are you "getting away with something?" Or "pulling a fast one?" There is always a reckoning, you know. Physical law ... and Karmic law ... require that everything ultimately be returned to balance.

In the next few days you may have to cope with someone whose attitude is critical, negative, and unfair. This may come in the form of an actual person who is sarcastic, opinionated, a trouble-maker and a know-it-all. You may also have to handle some incorrect or deliberately twisted information, or something blatantly self-serving to the interests of the person offering it.

This card can describe someone with a self-righteous, hateful, prejudiced, scheming attitude who shows up and spills his ugliness out for you to deal with. It can also indicate problems you have in your own attitude toward some important "general issue" in your life now.

You may have magnetized this atmosphere into your experience -- in an effort to get you to change your own mind about some basic ideas you hold which are hindering you -- perhaps severely -- at the moment.

You may need a whole fresh approach to the routine of your daily life, some new subjects to engage your interest, or just a major change of pace. Your "negative attitude" may be nothing more than the product of stress and fatigue ... but a more positive outlook on your life would be a benefit -- for sure.

This card is almost literally an energy of famine and starvation -- since without a source of energy, joy, and love offering nourishment into your life, the atmosphere that results is dead and absolutely stagnant. Right now, this energy of inertia and "no growth" is located in your financial life, affecting your investments, your sense of status and power, and your ability to care for yourself materially.

You may need to seriously assess some pervasive condition of "non-productivity" in your life, a habit you've developed, an obligation you've taken on, a relationship you keep hoping (against the evidence!!) will improve, a job that leaves you exhausted and unfulfilled, an investment of your time that leaves you no room or encouragement to grow. The alchemy that works to create money and love out of one another is missing ... and needs to be renewed.

Something unmistakable and of serious consequence is crushing your vitality and sapping your spirit, and before things get any worse, you need to confront and correct this. Step back. See how "a lack of support and love" may be contributing to your situation ... and how finding ways to provide that again ... perhaps by finding joy in what you do professionally and increasing the rewards you receive for your efforts could make a world of difference.
