Fearsome as this card sounds ... its energy is about releasing wealth. Yes, it can be about financial catastrophe, indebtedness, and bankruptcy (and sometimes it describes exactly that.) But fundamentally it's about letting go of money ... or income sources ... so that you no longer have those, nor are you relying on them.
Although it can indicate a major financial loss -- or money you were counting on that fails to arrive -- it could also indicate the decision to make a substantial purchase or investment that temporarily lowers your bank balance, but lets you build the foundations for a new enterprise whose eventual outcome is still uncertain.
It can also be a serious warning that you need to take better care of your health ... because you are running on empty and need to ease up and replenish your strength.

You may soon have to set sentiment and emotion aside for a while in a situation you face where objective analysis, honest information, and maybe some tough-minded decisions are needed. It's time to let rational opinions, self-control, disciplined intellect, and faith in your own ability to make good, if difficult, choices guide the conclusions you reach in the next few days ... and the action you take as a result.
It's possible you will seek advice, counsel, or an "expert opinion" from someone you trust whose function is to provide information, knowledge, and clarity on the direction of your options. By the same token, you may find yourself being called on as the counselor ... giving these same things to someone else to the best of your ability.
Again, energy is always a two way street. What goes around, comes around ... and sometimes in the same ten minute period, you get to experience both sides.
An additional thought to ponder:
Self-controlled, well-educated, objective analysis of a difficult situation is always valuable. This is the energy that seeks to apply the letter of the law along with the spirit of the law when a serious or complex decision is pending. Working hand in hand with your own feelings and heart energy, it becomes the spirit of fairness that balances or is tempered by the spirit of mercy. Both are necessary parts of a mature, effective human being. Both are certainly necessary to the smooth operation of any personal relationship.

Experiences in the near future will bring you a time of harvesting, organizing, systematizing, or attending to details ... most probably in the practical, professional, financial, or "work-related" details in your life. This may involve simply a time of "taking care of life's business," but it also asks you to consider with pride the work you do, the service you provide, and the success you've achieved.
Emphasis now is on your being centered, clear-headed, integrated, and bringing order to your life where there may be untidiness or chaos. You may be taking stock of your situation, assets, skills, professional resources, education, possessions, and proficiency in taking care of yourself, your business and professional interests, your clients and customers, ... or simply "managing life in general."
You've done well at these things, especially given the challenges you've been handed along with the opportunities. It's time to pat yourself on the back and accept some self-congratulation.
