What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Rediscovering joy
Expect to get a wake-up call in the next few days ... demonstrating how you are drifting, wasting time, being irresponsible, not using your talents, feeling sorry for yourself, being pessimistic, lazy, and generally indulging your Inner Victim. That realization, of course, is the first step toward standing up, adjusting your attitude, and putting yourself back in charge of you inner creative life and your emotional well-being again.
You may encounter this energy "by example," too ... through an encounter with someone else who acts this out for your benefit ... and education. If you find yourself dealing with someone living in a world of his own, running away from reality through counter-productive strategies, complaining that nobody loves him and that he never gets a break ... and using these excuses to continue mucking his way through life -- you've got a cautionary tale unfolding right before your eyes. Be sure you're not buying into some of the same futile tactics, and be doubly sure you're not playing the part of the "patsy" ... helping somebody else stay on this pointless merry-go-round with endless offers of "help," money, understanding, advice, and sympathy.
An additional thought to ponder:
Do you know what it takes for you to be happy? Many people don't. Even the structure of our language seems to put that state outside ourselves somehow. We speak of something "making" us happy, as if we are passive pawns of circumstance. We're not, and if we stop acting and thinking otherwise, happiness is a lot easier to find.

To be surprised, to wonder, is to begin to understand.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Integration and Synthesis
You have reached a new level of information and perception regarding your associations with others and your own conduct as a partner. You see something about an important relationship in your life more clearly than you did a few days ago. In considering perspectives you'd not previously considered, you've gained a greater respect for your own new ideas, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes ... certainly regarding this matter, but perhaps on a larger scale as well.
The card encourages objective analysis and clarity of thought for what you are mulling over and working on presently. It is literally the energy of "coming into peaceful waters" after a time of anxiety, strife, conflict, and confusion.
You may recently have been through a fair amount of turmoil, uncertainty, and disagreement with a significant person in your life -- or over the greater question of managing your relationships themselves, perhaps, but in the next day or so, you will reach a stable, predictable place in your outlook, approach, beliefs, and conclusions on this matter which has bothered you for a while.
Today's affirmation:
I welcome the serenity of insight and closure, and value my ability to think through difficult problems to find answers that work.

Curiosity . . . endows the people who have it with a generosity in argument
and a serenity in cheerful willingness to let life take the form it will.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Boredom
This "blah" feeling -- a familiar one when "nothing special" is available -- when you are just not happy, not motivated, not enjoying yourself, and not exited about anything (!!) will settle into your economic situation for a few days. This can indicate a range of reactions ... from being dissatisfied with your sources and levels of income, but not seeing a good way to respond to this feeling, to being unhappy with "things" in general, and learning that "buying stuff" doesn't help lift the fog.
An additional thought to ponder:
This feeling is often a strong signal you've "tapped out" and exhausted something in your economic situation and now need new sources of supply and nourishment. Consider what it would take to have excitement and a sense of joy restored in your financial world. Sincerely put your mind and efforts into finding ways to supply this for yourself.
You need to find your creative center again. You may also need new people and new scenery. You certainly need to find "what makes you happy" inside yourself ... which may require modification, if not a whole new set, of your abstract values.

The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.
