The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Healing injury
What one thing do you regret most in your life? If you can be completely honest with yourself ... were there choices you made to cause it, choices that brought it about, choices you would make differently today -- if you had the chance? Is there, in fact, something you can do about it ... with resolve, or courage, or determination?
Do you need to make amends with anyone? A set of actions and consequences you need to come to terms with? An apology that would ease your conscience ... or somehow improve life?
Is there someone you feel owes this to you? You may have to live with the fact that this person may never "be sorry," will never own up to their behavior, will never try to put things right ... may flat not care how badly he (or she) behaved or how badly you were hurt. Is there anything you can do yet to get past this? Forgive it? (Not forget. Not condone. Not excuse. Not act like "everything's fine again.") But rather, is there a way you can get beyond it so that it no longer hurts, no longer consumes your thoughts and energy, no longer is an issue in your life? The answer may honestly be "No, not yet." But for your own sake, you need to keep looking for ways to make it so. You forgive someone not for his sake, but for yours. You do it to be whole and strong again ... and to able to reclaim your life despite the injury you were caused. You do it to break your ties with the one who injured you ... in order to be yourself again.
An additional thought to ponder:
From Eric Allenbaugh: Yes, there are times when something is legitimately not our fault. Blaming others, however, keeps us in a stuck state and is ultimately rough on our own self-esteem.

A man who has committed a mistake and doesn't correct it
is committing another mistake.

Arrogance
This card suggests today will be one of frustration, not seeing things clearly, feeling uncertain and vulnerable, and needing to realign your personal energy and use it more effectively. You may have to cope with someone intolerant, hot-tempered, unreliable, or undisciplined.
You may also encounter attitudes that are jealous, conceited, aggressive, vain, and pompous. Very often this card suggests "a trouble-maker" will cause you grief. You may also find someone's egotistical behavior prompts unfortunate responses from you. At worst, of course, you may find you are the one whose behavior is out of control and needs adjustment. It's certainly a time for self-examination ... and, at the same time, you need to watch your back.
An extra piece of advice:
No matter who is the problematic person here -- you or someone else, you are dealing with touchy self-esteem issues, massive frustration, and a very temperamental and uncooperative attitude -- possibly because someone feels his "authority" is shaky ... or being challenged.
If this person is you ... it may help to see if there's another way to accomplish what you are trying to do, one that doesn't cause so much aggravation -- perhaps for all concerned. If this energy shows up as another person you have to put up with, knowing "where he's coming from" with his ugly attitude may help you work better with the problems he brings to your life.

The spectator-buyer is meant to envy herself as she will become if she buys the product.
She is meant to imagine herself transformed by the product into an object of envy for others,
an envy which will then justify her loving herself.

Making adjustments
You may reach soon a point on some extensive piece of work, something you've been building for months or even years ... and reach the sobering conclusion that much of what you've created has been a waste. It just isn't what you thought it would be ... and you will either have to put a lot more work into salvaging it or redirecting it, or dump it entirely and start building again, with another vision and another destination in mind.
Today's affirmation:
I am able to make adjustments in my intended destination that are more closely in line with my needs and intentions than what I may have accomplished so far.
