What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Discovering and sharing personal wisdom
The energy of this card focuses your attention on finding your own personal spiritual truths so that you can light the way for others, by serving as a teacher and example. This may, therefore, herald a time of solitude and introspection -- in order to learn what these are.
It may be an especially good day for reading, meditation, and study, taking time to evaluate and absorb the new ideas and material at your own pace and see its applications to your life. Concentrate especially on the "deeper questions" that may have been troubling you ... or issues which have provoked your special attention recently.
Consider other viewpoints for the "raw material" they offer, but don't adopt another's "truth" for yourself unedited. You still need to judge that an idea, opinion, piece of information, or inspiration has meaning for you, before you choose to make it your own.
An extra piece of advice:
Life is meant to be a do-it-yourself project. There's only so much you can and should expect others to provide for you. Your ideas are among your most sacred personal treasures. If you haven't at least studied and reworked the ideas of other before claiming them for yourself, you are, at best, living on counterfeit goods.

To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men
-- that is genius.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Working with imagination
You may soon encounter something in your love life, something that involves an important relationship, or that is connected to a partner or associate that is not to be trusted ... that simply is not at all what it seems, or not what it is "advertised" to be. This may be something that "doesn't quite click," that doesn't ring true, or that seems "off" somehow. It can also be something that seems "too good to be true."
The energy at work when this card shows up indicates conditions are very unreliable. Sometimes it points toward outright deception. Other times it describes situations where "reality" is not solid or fully formed yet -- and may never be in the way expected. It can signify everything from deliberate lies, to misunderstandings, to incomplete information, to plain old wishful thinking.
Pay close attention to your instincts in all your relationships over the next several days. They are really all you have to go on. But they are also your best source of information. Believe it or not, your "gut" never lies.
An extra piece of advice:
Things are "not what they seem" in your relationships presently. Don't be fooled by surface appearances until you've taken the time and trouble to investigate further and prove the truth and reliability of what you are working with now.

Facts from paper are not the same as facts from people.
The reliability of the people giving you the facts is as important as the facts themselves.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Subdued celebration
Expect to discover you've been setting the bar too low, not expecting enough of yourself, or "fielding ground balls" for too long. If so, no wonder you're feeling restless and depressed. If and when life hands you such a moment, say "thank you" for the wake-up call (and the vote of confidence that's hidden inside) and set your aim higher. Anxiety is an interesting spice ... in small doses.
An extra piece of advice:
Satisfaction comes in many shades. The contentment of having done "well enough" is more common than total joy. Closure and release are part of this particular energy. But you might also take a moment to quietly assess the quality of your happiness ... and see what's lacking, what still needs work, and what could be improved. Often this card suggests a chance to see how you could "do better next time." The encouragement to turn in a better performance and thus reap better rewards ... tomorrow, next week, next month ... is also a gift, if you use it that way.

A work is never completed except by some accident
such as weariness, satisfaction, the need to deliver, or death.
