The energy of this card focuses your attention on finding your own personal spiritual truths so that you can light the way for others, by serving as a teacher and example. This may, therefore, herald a time of solitude and introspection -- in order to learn what these are.

It may be an especially good day for reading, meditation, and study, taking time to evaluate and absorb the new ideas and material at your own pace and see its applications to your life. Concentrate especially on the "deeper questions" that may have been troubling you ... or issues which have provoked your special attention recently.

Consider other viewpoints for the "raw material" they offer, but don't adopt another's "truth" for yourself unedited. You still need to judge that an idea, opinion, piece of information, or inspiration has meaning for you, before you choose to make it your own.

Today's Theme for Relationships
Physical and financial ineptitude

Upcoming events will focus your attention on inefficiencies, mistakes in judgment, and problems affecting your life in a relationship where someone is not pulling his fair share of the load. You may have to cope with the troubles produced by someone with no "money sense," someone who is always having financial problems, who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, overly status conscious, who wastes his time and talents ... and scoots by through mooching off others.

You absolutely do need to realign this relationship and get this energy out of your life. You especially need to do this if this description in any way fits you! The attitudes you will have to handle now place excessive and constant emphasis on physical enjoyment. You may be too focused on gaining material power -- or simply solving chronic economic crises. Or you may be tangled up in a relationship where these are the predominant concerns.

It's not at all a positive place to be. And if you simply find yourself observing such a situation ... and it's little educational message ... from the sidelines of life (in other words, you see somebody else having to work through this issue ... while you get to walk away whistling), don't get too cocky. Consider it a cautionary warning of something in your world that may be working away quietly behind your back.

An additional thought to ponder:

Living with a constant sense of lack is deadly to the soul. It robs you of perspective. It reinforces an erroneous message that you have no right to exist and that life is "a constant struggle." It often points to a significant flaw in one's abstract values ... and in life's magical way, correcting one side of that equation will bring the results you want to see on the other.

You seem to be seriously worried about a situation that "just has no easy answers." If you are fretting yourself about some circular issue that has you sleepless and tied up in knots ... consider that paranoia and fatigue may be raising the emotional stakes in ways that don't really gain you any benefit. See if there isn't another way to view the problem ... that isn't nearly so fearsome. You may be borrowing lots more trouble than you need to over this.

Sometimes the way we define a problem ... especially when we don't have all the facts ... does more harm than good, and delays our finding a solution. It may even hinder our looking for one.
