Competence and compensation
Today's energy deals in prudence, wisdom, competence, and self-mastery. Experiences in the near future will bring you a time of harvesting, organizing, systematizing, or attending to details ... most probably in the practical, professional, financial, or "work-related" details in your life. This may involve simply a time of "taking care of life's business," but it also asks you to consider with pride the work you do, the service you provide, and the success you've achieved.
Emphasis now is on your being centered, clear-headed, integrated, and bringing order to your life where there may be untidiness or chaos. You may be taking stock of your situation, assets, skills, professional resources, education, possessions, and proficiency in taking care of yourself, your business and professional interests, your clients and customers, ... or simply "managing life in general."
You've done well at these things, especially given the challenges you've been handed along with the opportunities. It's time to pat yourself on the back and accept some self-congratulation.
An extra piece of advice:
This card often carries the flavor of "giving good work for good value," and being paid what you're worth for the work you do. That, too, may be part the day ahead ... and the tenor of the time to come.

Don't give up whatever you're trying to do - especially if you're convinced that you're botching it up. Giving up reinforces a sense of incompetence; going on gives you a commitment to success.

New sources of supply
This card mixes matters of love and money in rather pleasant ways. Your partners and your participation in relationships work together now to offer you great feelings of internal and external success. The next few days may emphasize practical organization, the manifesting of solid, tangible, "real" results. You and your partners are working together to create something of value in the world ... and for each other.
It's a day for everyone to be cooperative, pragmatic, realistic, "results oriented," and to have both feet on the ground. It may also be a time to enjoy the money you have ... and congratulate yourself on your achievements. It could call for an extra bit of spending -- or saving -- depending on what "celebration" means to the two of you. But do make a gesture to mark the value you and your loved ones have for one another now.
An extra piece of advice:
Today could be an excellent day to make some tangible progress on a project where you and partners could create "something real" in the world ... something that didn't exist (or wasn't so fine!) before you put your hearts and hands together to give it life.

Real life is, to most men, a long second-best, a perpetual compromise between the ideal and the possible; but the world of pure reason knows no compromise, no practical limitations, no barrier to the creative activity.

Final endings
This is a tough card. There's no two ways around it. It generally means you've come to the end of a significant illusion and are having to adjust your thinking in a mighty big way to cope with circumstances or information that is painful, harsh, heart-breaking, or disastrous. It suggests you may be handling a significant disappointment ... either fresh in present time or in repercussions from an incident in the past.
This can be especially tough where money and possessions are concerned ... because of the strong symbolic connections these things have to both our survival issues and our abstract values. Changes here ... or even instability ... can be extremely uncomfortable and scary.
Often the hardest part of any major crisis is accepting what happened. And it may be that something in the next few days triggers memories or questions from a past incident that need to be reviewed further ... and put to rest either more fully, again, or once and for all. Or it can bring the undeniable realization that something you've believed in, counted on, and maybe worked hard for ... for a long time ... has handed you back nothing but disappointment for your efforts.
As I said, this realization can be extraordinarily bitter ... and hearing that ultimately this is the first stage of important new beginnings may not hold much weight on balance -- for the time being.
An additional thought to ponder:
Just as every ending signals the arrival of new beginnings, new beginnings require endings in order to commence. This is simply the way life works, in an infinitely circular and wondrous fashion.

I cannot say whether things will get better if we change;
what I can say is that they must change if they are to get better.
