What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Inadequate compensation
Do you routinely give more than you receive? Does this make you feel noble? "More blessed?" Do you consider this "your lot in life?" Has doing extra favors for people gradually become "your job?" Do you feel you simply aren't able to demand and receive fairer treatment? What does this say about your self-image ... and the value you feel you deserve?
Are you taking unfair advantage of someone? Is there a situation where you're scooting by with a minimum of effort, or are failing to take on your share of work and responsibility? Are you "getting away with something?" Or "pulling a fast one?" There is always a reckoning, you know. Physical law ... and Karmic law ... require that everything ultimately be returned to balance.
An additional thought to ponder:
From Eric Allenbaugh: Sometimes we become locked into a short-term pattern of reacting to immediate needs and missing the long-term benefits of positioning ourselves to deal with more important life issues and priorities.

As we become full persons,
our knack for "right actions" and good judgement blossoms.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Liberation
You are being released from "imprisonment" in a difficult relationship, breaking old habits and patterns that have caused serious grief and discomfort, thinking differently, adopting new perspectives -- and taking action on these new ideas. This may directly concern issues that have plagued your ability to manage and enjoy life for quite a while ... but this welcome time of new beginnings will certainly impact your circumstances favorably.
You may finally be ready ... or able ... to consider options that were "unthinkable" for a long time. New circumstances may have developed -- or you may at last see a different way to work with these previously harsh and insurmountable problems. You may also have just decided "something's got to give" ... and so are exercising choices you always had but which you always considered to be "a cure worse than the disease" before.
Look forward now to freedom from restrictions, the acquisition of new strength and new levels of confidence. You are regaining your sense of power and self-respect regarding your ability to make choices and manage things to your satisfaction. Continue to face this new "way of seeing the world" openly and honestly. It is a treasure to cherish.
An extra piece of advice:
You may recently have made an important decision ... on a matter where you've been stalled for quite a while. Often this card indicates that you've made choices or taken action after a long period of vacillation and dithering. This alone indicates the choice may not have been an easy one ... but, given the new vitality and movement it can now bring to your life ... you can certainly consider it was worthwhile.

Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it.
Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it.
Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Nurturing your self-confidence and ambition
You may soon have the chance to encourage someone who needs your support, teach someone who needs your knowledge, compliment someone who needs to see himself (or herself) through your eyes, or counsel someone who needs your advice and direction. This will most likely involve money, sources of income, possessions, investments, property, spending habits, purchases, or other financial matters. Realize that part of what you are advising on in the process involves your abstract values ... and that of the other person, too.
This is your chance to give the best you have ... to help someone else be the best he or she can be. Don't overlook the fact that you could be both the teacher and the student in this situation. nor the fact that an inner part of you could be offering advice and counsel that you as an integrated personality need to hear and heed.
An extra piece of advice:
What do you say when you talk to yourself? (C'mon. We all do this. You know we do.) If you said those same things to another person, how would it make him feel? How would it help her succeed in life? How would it encourage them when the going gets rough? The answers to those questions may be the most important information you come across all day.

Confidence is the hinge on the door to success.
