What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Making up your mind
You will come to a moment when your own willpower and the courage to make realistic choices are the next ingredients you need to create something of value in your life -- probably something you've been daydreaming or brainstorming about for a while.
This may concern some serious decisions about your life which will result in changes for the better ... eventually. It may also involve a decision to try something you've only fantasized about up 'til now ... or to follow a dream that hasn't gotten off the drawing board for whatever reason.
Daydreams, fantasies, and imagination are wonderful raw materials ... but eventually the "moment of truth" arrives and you need to create something real from the stuff of vision. Such a moment will soon show up and stare you right in the face.
Take a deep breath, re-evaluate your emotional needs in life, consider the options and raw materials you have at hand, and start drawing a new picture on the canvas of your life ... creating the outlines of a new reality where right now only your desires for change and different experiences exist.
An additional thought to ponder:
Every day is a new beginning. You face each new morning with a choice to continue creating the life you have ... or to do what it takes to create something else.

All glory comes from daring to begin.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Being happy
It's time to trust your instincts and open your heart to the greater possibilities of love and personal connection in your life. Some nice opportunities exist now for you to give and receive love -- and find an emotional fulfillment that may have been missing for a while. On the one hand, you may find new ways to appreciate the relationships you have and more satisfaction with the people in them.
On the other hand, this card definitely holds the promise of "something new" ... perhaps someone new ... to add zest and interest to circumstances that may need those things desperately. Whether it's a new playmate, a new perspective, a new "awakening" in your emotional center, or a new opening for experiencing your own creativity and happiness, you should find the pleasure is oh-so-fine.
An additional thought to ponder:
This card forecasts a time of emotional integrity, balance, and honesty. At its best it can describe a whole new way of looking at and loving life itself ... with all the creative possibilities that go with true enjoyment. For many people the very word "love" implies the necessary presence of another person, but that's not true at all. Another person can provide an interesting addition to and mirror of yourself, but unless there's "something in you" to begin with, the addition of another person doesn't mean a thing.

We carry with us the wonders we seek without us.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Parasitical attitudes
The next few days may present you with a close-up chance to witness over-riding concern with luxury and status, snobbishness, pretentiousness, and vanity. You may have to cope with someone who is helpless, lazy, impractical, wasteful, or irresponsible. Or you may have to confront these qualities in yourself.
This suggests an encounter with someone who blames others for her problems, stubbornly refuses to assume responsibility for her own life and actions, is poisonously status conscious, or who wants others to "take care" of her. Again, these may be facets of your personality that rise up and demand attention. Regardless of how this experience takes shape in your life, notice your response when it arrives.
An additional thought to ponder:
This card depicts a very childish or short-sighted attitude regarding life's practical responsibilities. The energy here wants to be pampered, coddled, and provided for without effort. Often it shows up as a woman who doesn't work -- or doesn't want to, as someone whose self-image is way too attached to her economic status and love of convenience and luxury, or someone who can't or won't take care of herself.
It's also possible you are causing yourself physical problems from the stress and concern you feel over money, etc., which is not the way to safeguard your health. The natural caring, gentle, nourishing energy of this card's uncorrupted expression needs to be restored in your life.

What you pursue, you don't get.
But what you allow to grow slowly in its own way, comes to you.
