The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Parasitical attitudes
The next few days may present you with a close-up chance to witness over-riding concern with luxury and status, snobbishness, pretentiousness, and vanity. You may have to cope with someone who is helpless, lazy, impractical, wasteful, or irresponsible. Or you may have to confront these qualities in yourself.
This suggests an encounter with someone who blames others for her problems, stubbornly refuses to assume responsibility for her own life and actions, is poisonously status conscious, or who wants others to "take care" of her. Again, these may be facets of your personality that rise up and demand attention. Regardless of how this experiences takes shape in your life, notice your response when it arrives.
An additional thought to ponder:
This card depicts a very childish or short-sighted attitude regarding life's practical responsibilities. The energy here wants to be pampered, coddled, and provided for without effort. Often it shows up as a woman who doesn't work -- or doesn't want to, as someone whose self-image is way too attached to her economic status and love of convenience and luxury, or someone who can't or won't take care of herself.
It's also possible you are causing yourself physical problems from the stress and concern you feel over money, etc., which is not the way to safeguard your health. The natural caring, gentle, nourishing energy of this card's uncorrupted expression needs to be restored in your life.

What you pursue, you don't get.
But what you allow to grow slowly in its own way, comes to you.

the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Unconditional Love
Today is a day to count your blessings - and especially include those in your relationships who make life worth living for you. Consider this an object lesson in contentment. Look around you at all the people you have to be grateful for and make today your personal time of "thanksgiving." The appearance of this card forecasts the fruitful realization of creative projects, a new level of personal fulfillment and prosperity, the arrival of earned recognition and rewards, and the experience of unconditional love.
This is a day to be good to yours partners and loved ones ... because after all, unconditional love and its fruits must begin at home. Be sure it is very much in evidence. Take time to appreciate the loving relationships that enrich your life, and your ability to return that kind of caring and attention to your loved ones as well. You are all important in one another's lives.
Today's affirmation:
In giving unconditional love to myself, I nourish my ability to give this also to others.

We carry with us the wonders we seek without us.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of

as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Sorrow
The energy of this card in this position combines emotional pain and profound disappointment with financial matters, possessions, or money. Its most obvious prediction suggests someone you trusted or cared for (perhaps even loved!) has harmed you over possessions, money, investments, or the handling of financial matters where you have an interest.
Another possibility with this combination is that anxiety, worry, bitterness, grief, or other strong emotions about money and finances are causing you physical and emotional harm ... perhaps even memories from the past that bring up unhealed wounds are causing you more injury in stress symptoms and psychological pain than you want to admit.
A fairly mild possibility with this card is disappointment with an investment, possession, purchase, or financial experience ... and thus the need to reorient yourself in the face of this loss. Rarely, though, does this card appear to describe the little bubbles and potholes of ordinary life. What you have to cope with in the next few days may have more to it than meets the eye.
An additional thought to ponder:
Being harmed materially by someone we have trusted or cared for brings a double injury that makes it harder to accept. You not only have to cope with the harm to your financial interests or possessions, you have to acknowledge and heal the emotional injury to your spirit. And usually recovery from the first is the easier of the two. By a long shot.

I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all;
but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess.
