The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.

Defending your position
Over the next few days, you may have to deliberately protect your interests, hold on to what you believe, and defend what you have accomplished -- especially concerning money, possessions, and financial matters. The experience itself may, in retrospect, seem like the Universe's way of separating the players from the push-overs. It's time to know for sure which you are.
You may experience circumstances where someone is "testing you" in search of weaknesses or soft spots ... or you may see that game of sly probing and subtle examination played out in someone else's life. It's the kind of thing that goes on all the time, and watching the maneuvers when they involve other people can be just as educational as being one of the principals in this psychological tug-of-war.
An extra piece of advice:
When it comes to the ultimate "bottom line" you really do have to take a stand ... and "take care of Number One." If you don't, there's not a lot of chance someone will step in and do it for you.

Greater ability develops and reveals itself increasingly with every new assignment.

Healing
In the next few days, you may find yourself dealing with loss, disappointment, grief, and sadness -- but in a positive, healing way. Almost certainly the issue you are processing is "old news," and the information you will receive is evidence that you are healing, stronger, and better able to manage your life now, less impeded by past injuries than has been the case for a while.
You may also go through a period of reassessment, examination, and reverie regarding a time of injury and loss, and in doing so discover the strengths you gained and the important things you learned from the experience. It may not yet be enough to convince you the original experience was "worth it" ... and, in fact, that may never happen. But this is one way you can find "meaning" in something dreadful. And knowing there was meaning to something does make it more bearable. What you are really seeking is more comfort ... and by looking for that, you're liable to find it.
An additional thought to ponder:
Just as times for physical recuperation vary, so do periods of emotional recovery. The mind and heart have their own wisdom and their own cycle of change in such an experience, and while you can support and encourage emotional restoration -- just as you can physical healing -- you would be wise to honor this simple, but often ignored, fact of life.
Depending on the severity of a deep loss or emotional trauma, it can take a minimum of two years to return to "normal." Sometimes it takes longer. Sometimes, of course, you will never be completely "normal" again. But telling yourself to just "get over it" and "forget" is as futile, cruel, and potentially crippling as telling your broken ankle to "get it together" and then walking on it anyway ... as if nothing ever happened.

Authenticity
Today's message is to be who you are ... authentically, sincerely, and proudly. Show off your values. Support your ambitions and vision with the proper investment of both yourself and your money. To the best of your ability provide an example of how to live a true, self-actualized life.
Phoniness, fear, waffling, and weakness have no place in your financial management and investment strategies now. Use both your energy and your wealth to build the life you want and influence the world around you. Meet others with open-hearted generosity on common ground.
Be decisive and brave in expressing your principles ... and be ready to help others be the best they can be, too. A time of important progress is at hand, and you need the security of knowing you are valued for yourself alone by people willing to treat you with the same respect you show them.
If you feel any need to apologize for who you are, your greatest need is to change that attitude -- by either solidifying your sense of identity, or becoming the person you want to be. Both of those are worthwhile goals. In doing so, you open the two-way flow between yourself and the world ... enriching it with who you are and what you have to offer ... the resources of yourself ... and allowing it to do the same for the arrangements that support you in return.
An additional thought to ponder:
If you fail to be yourself, then who will you be? And who will be you?

It ain't bragging if you can do it.
