What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Creating a balanced situation
You may soon face some choices in an important situation, where combining different ingredients, calling on solutions from more than one source, using advice and help from more than one person, or emphasizing diplomacy and cooperation to get a range of different needs satisfied is a key part of your eventual creation.
Viewed properly, you can see this as an opportunity to learn more about creative solutions, to forge productive alliances, or to solve several problems with one solution. There may be complex circumstances involved -- or a chance to apply the benefits of what you learn here in a number of productive ways. So, have a close look at this situation. There may be more here than meets the eye.
An extra piece of advice:
Opportunities for creative learning and expression can come in strange guises. Virtually any problem or frustration holds such a gift, if you know how to find the opening ... and apply the energy to create a remedy. It can require that you take several different views of your situation ... including the often productive tactic of asking yourself ... How would someone else solve this problem?
Think of someone you know well who might be able to handle this situation without batting an eye. That provides at least one other perspective for you to use ... for what it may be worth.

It is futile to linger endlessly over differences;
the fruitful research is to look for points of contact.

Wasting resources
On the surface, this card predicts an encounter with someone who is financially manipulative, dishonest, shady, "out to feather his own nest," and possibly lining himself up for health problems because of this imbalance in his life
Beneath the surface, this card asks that you reconsider your own behavior and values with regard to managing money, meeting your responsibilities, wisely investing your time, energy, and physical assets, and taking care of your health and your loved ones. You may find some adjustments are needed that you've either overlooked or have been deliberately putting off for a while. It's time to stop procrastinating.
An additional thought to ponder:
Physical and financial assets are also responsibilities. When you consider your commitments and obligations, see how many of them have connections to money and health issues ... your own and those of your dependents. Consider, too, what you are harming if you fail to care for these wisely.

I would I could stand on a busy corner, hat in hand,
and beg people to throw me all their wasted hours.

Healing sadness
In the next few days, you may find yourself dealing with feelings of loss, disappointment, grief, and sadness -- quite likely over a loss or injury involving money, income, possessions, or material resources. But at this point, you are able to deal with the matter in a positive, healing way.
Almost certainly the issue you are processing is "old news," a memory or reminder of some injury in the past, and the information you will receive is evidence that you are healing, stronger, and better able to manage your life now, less impeded by this pain than has been the case for a while.
You may also go through a period of reassessment, examination, and reverie regarding a time of injury and loss, and in doing so discover the strengths you gained and the important things you learned from the experience.
It may not yet be enough to convince you the original experience was "worth it" ... and, in fact, that may never happen. But this is one way you can find "meaning" in something dreadful. And knowing there was meaning to something does make it more bearable. What you are really seeking is more comfort ... and by looking for that, you're liable to find it.
An additional thought to ponder:
Just as times for physical recuperation vary, so do periods of emotional recovery. The mind and heart have their own wisdom and their own cycle of change in such an experience, and while you can support and encourage emotional restoration -- just as you can physical healing -- you would be wise to honor this simple, but often ignored, fact of life.

Life is an adventure in forgiveness.
