What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Excessive dependence
You may soon face a situation where jealousy, resentment, accusations, tantrums, "hurt feelings," and other evidence of emotional neglect are on display ... possibly tied to someone who needs more "proof" that she is "loved." Someone may feel dismissed, undervalued, taken for granted ... and not compensated nearly enough for the value he or she provides. It's also possible these feelings and responses describe you.
Alternatively, you may soon face a situation where someone feels frustrated, insecure, fearful, helpless, and victimized over work that is undervalued, gestures of affection that are not appreciated or returned, emotional needs that are not being met, and a general atmosphere of staleness and disregard.
You could also be that person. It's also possible all these feelings will emerge in one complex and painful scene ... which needs remedy and attention right away.
An additional thought to ponder:
It is entirely possible to see to all the physical requirements of those in your relationships ... and overlook the need for emotional support -- both for yourself and and for your loved ones. Keeping all the balls in the air can be a hard juggling act ... but the complexity of human life is such that you have to keep doing your best. Always.

As they die, the ones we love, we lose our witnesses, our watchers, those who know and understand the tiny little meaningless patterns, those words drawn in water with a stick. And there is nothing left but the endless flow.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Working with imagination
You may soon encounter something in your love life, something that involves an important relationship, or that is connected to a partner or associate that is not to be trusted ... that simply is not at all what it seems, or not what it is "advertised" to be. This may be something that "doesn't quite click," that doesn't ring true, or that seems "off" somehow. It can also be something that seems "too good to be true."
The energy at work when this card shows up indicates conditions are very unreliable. Sometimes it points toward outright deception. Other times it describes situations where "reality" is not solid or fully formed yet -- and may never be in the way expected. It can signify everything from deliberate lies, to misunderstandings, to incomplete information, to plain old wishful thinking.
Pay close attention to your instincts in all your relationships over the next several days. They are really all you have to go on. But they are also your best source of information. Believe it or not, your "gut" never lies.
An extra piece of advice:
Things are "not what they seem" in your relationships presently. Don't be fooled by surface appearances until you've taken the time and trouble to investigate further and prove the truth and reliability of what you are working with now.

Facts from paper are not the same as facts from people.
The reliability of the people giving you the facts is as important as the facts themselves.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Nurturing your self-confidence and ambition
You may soon have the chance to encourage someone who needs your support, teach someone who needs your knowledge, compliment someone who needs to see himself (or herself) through your eyes, or counsel someone who needs your advice and direction. This will most likely involve money, sources of income, possessions, investments, property, spending habits, purchases, or other financial matters. Realize that part of what you are advising on in the process involves your abstract values ... and that of the other person, too.
This is your chance to give the best you have ... to help someone else be the best he or she can be. Don't overlook the fact that you could be both the teacher and the student in this situation. nor the fact that an inner part of you could be offering advice and counsel that you as an integrated personality need to hear and heed.
An extra piece of advice:
What do you say when you talk to yourself? (C'mon. We all do this. You know we do.) If you said those same things to another person, how would it make him feel? How would it help her succeed in life? How would it encourage them when the going gets rough? The answers to those questions may be the most important information you come across all day.

Confidence is the hinge on the door to success.
