What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Barrenness
This card is almost literally an energy of famine and starvation -- since without a source of energy, joy, and love offering nourishment into your life, the atmosphere that results is dead and absolutely stagnant. This is a serious wake-up call -- and the bottom line is ... you need a lot more love in your life.
You may need more people -- or different people -- offering you the care and concern that makes living worthwhile. You may need more people -- or different people -- in order to love yourself. Once again, energy is a two way street. You both experience it and express it. And you need to get the give-and-take exchange of love in your life moving again. Whatever it takes.
You may need to seriously assess some pervasive situation in your life, a habit you've developed, an obligation you've taken on, a relationship you keep hoping (against the evidence!!) will improve, a job that leaves you exhausted and unfulfilled, an investment of your time that leaves you no room or encouragement to grow.
Something unmistakable and of serious consequence is crushing your vitality and sapping your spirit, and before things get any worse, you need to confront and correct this.
Today's affirmation:
I know how to find the love I need in my life ... and how to offer mine to those I love.

When it's all over, it's not who you were ... it's whether you made a difference.

This card is almost literally an energy of famine and starvation -- since without a source of energy, joy, and love offering nourishment into your life, the atmosphere that results is dead and absolutely stagnant. This is a serious wake-up call when it shows up describing your relationships and associations. The bottom line is ... you need a lot more love in your life.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Boredom
This "blah" feeling -- a familiar one when "nothing special" is available -- when you are just not happy, not motivated, not enjoying yourself, and not exited about anything (!!) will settle into your economic situation for a few days. This can indicate a range of reactions ... from being dissatisfied with your sources and levels of income, but not seeing a good way to respond to this feeling, to being unhappy with "things" in general, and learning that "buying stuff" doesn't help lift the fog.
An additional thought to ponder:
This feeling is often a strong signal you've "tapped out" and exhausted something in your economic situation and now need new sources of supply and nourishment. Consider what it would take to have excitement and a sense of joy restored in your financial world. Sincerely put your mind and efforts into finding ways to supply this for yourself.
You need to find your creative center again. You may also need new people and new scenery. You certainly need to find "what makes you happy" inside yourself ... which may require modification, if not a whole new set, of your abstract values.

The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.
