What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Healing injury
What one thing do you regret most in your life? If you can be completely honest with yourself ... were there choices you made to cause it, choices that brought it about, choices you would make differently today -- if you had the chance? Is there, in fact, something you can do about it ... with resolve, or courage, or determination?
Do you need to make amends with anyone? A set of actions and consequences you need to come to terms with? An apology that would ease your conscience ... or somehow improve life?
Is there someone you feel owes this to you? You may have to live with the fact that this person may never "be sorry," will never own up to their behavior, will never try to put things right ... may flat not care how badly he (or she) behaved or how badly you were hurt. Is there anything you can do yet to get past this? Forgive it? (Not forget. Not condone. Not excuse. Not act like "everything's fine again.") But rather, is there a way you can get beyond it so that it no longer hurts, no longer consumes your thoughts and energy, no longer is an issue in your life? The answer may honestly be "No, not yet." But for your own sake, you need to keep looking for ways to make it so. You forgive someone not for his sake, but for yours. You do it to be whole and strong again ... and to able to reclaim your life despite the injury you were caused. You do it to break your ties with the one who injured you ... in order to be yourself again.
An additional thought to ponder:
From Eric Allenbaugh: Yes, there are times when something is legitimately not our fault. Blaming others, however, keeps us in a stuck state and is ultimately rough on our own self-esteem.

A man who has committed a mistake and doesn't correct it
is committing another mistake.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Releasing
The advice for life today is to prepare for endings, inevitable changes, the closing out of old conditions in order to make room for new experiences, and the unavoidable change in perspective and consciousness that goes with such a time.
Over the next few days, you will meet circumstances of necessary change as you release something that has outlived its usefulness, something that is exhausted and worn out, or something that needs to end, possibly something that is "ill" or no longer functioning productively. This will have bearing on your partnerships, relationships, your connections with other people, and your attitudes toward these important life arrangements.
It may involve a past association that needs to be ended and "released" once and for all. You've reached a place where you are able to accomplish this now ... and will profit by doing so and moving on.
A time of extraordinary transition is at hand ... and the compelling archetype of the Death card counsels you to prepare for this ... and the new arrangements that will arrive to take the place of whatever is being cast off and released.
Today's affirmation:
I am able to make wise choices about the things that need to end and be replaced in my life.

Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Profit from creative thinking
Ideals may play a substantial part now in the choices you make in your financial life and the actions you take regarding money. There could be a deeply emotional element in both your spending patterns and the decisions you face regarding your income sources. You need to ask yourself seriously now how to use this important area of your life to help make your dreams come true.
You may need to form or strengthen some kind of creative partnership ... or look for ideas from others to use to your advantage ... whether you personally know the people who provide these for you or not. You could come across a good example of someone doing exactly what you want to do with your professional interests and financial life ... who can model success for you to study. Or you may provide that for someone else. The energy here, of course, is a two way street.
An extra piece of advice:
This is a time to emphasize your social skills, your ability to relate to others, your capacity to nourish your creative spirit, and your strong connections to family and loved ones. Use charm and your ability to empathize to your own advantage now. Be the "good friend" who honors commitments and contributes honestly to team efforts. This, too, is a form of love. The kind that returns to the source many times multiplied. To claim your share of this ... be the source.

The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance, the wise grows it under his feet.
