What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Finding meaning
The next several days may help you put to rest feelings and memories left over from an abusive, offensive experience in your past. This episode of further recovery may be something whose need you readily recognize, or it may surprise you to find yet another increment of pain and healing in an old memory you thought you'd laid to rest already.
Something that comes to your attention -- or dredges up the past -- will help you find the "meaning" and absorb the lesson you need to take away from this sad experience. It may not be pleasant to confront this again ... just as it wasn't at all pleasant to live through it the first time. But in such moments of mending you build strength, and the hurt fades even further.
Today's affirmation:
I am strong enough to face my past and purge the pain that remains unhealed there.

A keen sense of humor helps us to overlook the unbecoming, understand the unconventional, tolerate the unpleasant, overcome the unexpected, and outlast the unbearable.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Exercising discrimination and good judgment
It may be time to look at your life and relationships and bring an end to some association, partnership, alliance, friendship, or union that has served its purpose and now has nothing else to offer. This card's energy is that of summing up, closure, and bringing things to an end ... but it also suggests that it may be time to strike a new agreement and move a relationship to different level of expression.
If there isn't a relationship that needs to be released and dissolved apparent in your life, this card advises that it may be time to arrange a new contract, a new set of understandings, and maybe a different "legal arrangement" with a person whose contributions have been a tremendous asset n the past. Now may be the time to solidify something that works really well, thereby ending the more tenuous and temporary conditions of the past, and replacing them with something better!
That's where the judgment comes in. It's time for you to consider just which course of action is indicated ... based on your past, your future, and your best opinions of the present.
Today's affirmation:
I know when it's time to restructure the relationships in my life, releasing what no longer works and solidifying those that work very well indeed.

Write the bad things that are done to you in sand,
but write the good things that happen to you on a piece of marble.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Being focused in the wrong direction
You may soon confront someone hot-tempered, intolerant, unreliable, and undisciplined. The collision of personalities may be over an issue of money, "territory," possessions, financial management, economic concerns, income, or even "personal values." This kind of pushiness, of course, always gets on people's nerves.
If this person is you, notice how it may be time for an attitude adjustment. Even if your complaint is legitimate and your cause is just ... you may not be expressing yourself effectively. You may be just "griping" to everyone in general, rather than to the person who can help you fix the problem. Or you may be griping instead of acting. Or, you may be complaining about the wrong things ... leaving your problem intact in spite of help and adjustments. You need to examine your tactics.
If this person is someone else, notice the kind of response he provokes in you and everyone else around him. Consider how he might be better served with different strategies ... and consider this an object lesson for you to study without having to go through the problem first hand. Life can arrange those, too, you know.
An extra piece of advice:
Knowing your true worth and asserting it with confidence is not the same thing as arrogance. In fact, knowing what you can and cannot deliver as an important quality of genuine character. This is especially true in your relationships.

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
