What is your greatest obstacle to progress? How do you get it out of the way?
What three things in your life waste the most time, drain your resources away from "the important stuff," or cost you energy and attention you'd rather not have to spend there? What can you do to get rid of these problems? Or at least minimize their impact on the real business of your life and your happiness?

Heeding and using your Inner Scholar
You may soon have to set sentiment and emotion aside for a while in a situation you face where objective analysis, honest information, and maybe some tough-minded decisions are needed. It's time to let rational opinions, self-control, disciplined intellect, and faith in your own ability to make good, if difficult, choices guide the conclusions you reach in the next few days ... and the action you take as a result.
It's possible you will seek advice, counsel, or an "expert opinion" from someone you trust whose function is to provide information, knowledge, and clarity on the direction of your options. By the same token, you may find yourself being called on as the counselor ... giving these same things to someone else to the best of your ability.
Again, energy is always a two way street. What goes around, comes around ... and sometimes in the same ten minute period, you get to experience both sides.
An additional thought to ponder:
Self-controlled, well-educated, objective analysis of a difficult situation is always valuable. This is the energy that seeks to apply the letter of the law along with the spirit of the law when a serious or complex decision is pending. Working hand in hand with your own feelings and heart energy, it becomes the spirit of fairness that balances or is tempered by the spirit of mercy. Both are necessary parts of a mature, effective human being. Both are certainly necessary to the smooth operation of any personal relationship.

Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Being focused in the wrong direction
You may soon confront someone hot-tempered, intolerant, unreliable, and undisciplined. The collision of personalities may be over an issue of money, "territory," possessions, financial management, economic concerns, income, or even "personal values." This kind of pushiness, of course, always gets on people's nerves.
If this person is you, notice how it may be time for an attitude adjustment. Even if your complaint is legitimate and your cause is just ... you may not be expressing yourself effectively. You may be just "griping" to everyone in general, rather than to the person who can help you fix the problem. Or you may be griping instead of acting. Or, you may be complaining about the wrong things ... leaving your problem intact in spite of help and adjustments. You need to examine your tactics.
If this person is someone else, notice the kind of response he provokes in you and everyone else around him. Consider how he might be better served with different strategies ... and consider this an object lesson for you to study without having to go through the problem first hand. Life can arrange those, too, you know.
An extra piece of advice:
Knowing your true worth and asserting it with confidence is not the same thing as arrogance. In fact, knowing what you can and cannot deliver as an important quality of genuine character. This is especially true in your relationships.
