What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
A bold new idea
Expect a new viewpoint, new philosophical perspective, or an exciting new concept about life and your role in it to arrive soon. This may be the kind of moment that shifts the way you think, the way you view the world, the way you see yourself and the greater context of your life, giving you a glimpse of a much "bigger picture" than you had before.
Such moments, when you come face to face with a greater truth can be contained in even the smallest occurrences. But the power of their message can stop you dead in your tracks. When they happen, they are called epiphanies. Literature is full of them. So is life itself, when you know what to look for. They are always marvelous to receive. Literally like gifts from God. Such a moment may be on its way to you. Prepare to welcome its treasure.
An additional thought to ponder:
What is the greatest truth you know about life, the one nugget of your own life's wisdom and experience that you would pass along to "the next generation" if you were asked to do so?

An invasion of armies can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Coming out of poverty
Ordinarily, this card indicates recovery from a time of financial lack. But poverty comes in many guises ... and this energy covers territory beyond the pocket and bank account. Fundamentally, it predicts a "new take" on your material, physical, and economic situation. Often this comes hand in hand with a refreshing improvement in your personal values. Applying it to your relationships and personal associations, it forecasts the ending of a period of "emotional starvation" ... or feeling shunted aside and deprived of attention.
Expect a time when physical stress is lessened, when you can get more rest, when you won't put such demands on your physical body, and thus your lifestyle is healthier. As the level of worry recedes, you are better able to judge that perhaps literally killing yourself in order to have enough dollars in hand ... isn't worth the cost, especially to your loved ones and the relationships you cherish.
From there it's not such a big step to realizing that "money isn't everything" ... cliché though that may be ... and that personal, spiritual, and intellectual connections can be far more rewarding -- and many don't cost a dime.
Today's affirmation:
I am able to appreciate sufficiency in all things.

Our real blessings often appear to us in the shapes of pains, losses and disappointments;
but let us have patience, and we soon shall see them in their proper figures.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Being focused in the wrong direction
You may soon confront someone hot-tempered, intolerant, unreliable, and undisciplined. The collision of personalities may be over an issue of money, "territory," possessions, financial management, economic concerns, income, or even "personal values." This kind of pushiness, of course, always gets on people's nerves.
If this person is you, notice how it may be time for an attitude adjustment. Even if your complaint is legitimate and your cause is just ... you may not be expressing yourself effectively. You may be just "griping" to everyone in general, rather than to the person who can help you fix the problem. Or you may be griping instead of acting. Or, you may be complaining about the wrong things ... leaving your problem intact in spite of help and adjustments. You need to examine your tactics.
If this person is someone else, notice the kind of response he provokes in you and everyone else around him. Consider how he might be better served with different strategies ... and consider this an object lesson for you to study without having to go through the problem first hand. Life can arrange those, too, you know.
An extra piece of advice:
Knowing your true worth and asserting it with confidence is not the same thing as arrogance. In fact, knowing what you can and cannot deliver as an important quality of genuine character. This is especially true in your relationships.

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
