Wealth and material comfort

This is a day to enjoy life's finer things, and although this card is fundamentally about having a very comfortable level of wealth and luxury, its deeper meaning implies that your abstract values are sound, honorable, and positive. Enjoyment of life at this level doesn't require a huge bank balance and a mansion on the hill. It means being grateful, satisfied, and appreciative of your blessings ... whatever your surroundings. This is truly the definition of "living well."

Today's advice asks you to look at your lifestyle, possessions, health, benefits, advantages, and all the other demonstrations of "wealth" you have ... and enjoy them. Be proud of them. Be grateful for them. And make this day also one of thanksgiving, ease, and pleasure.

Today's Theme for Relationships
Physical and financial ineptitude

Upcoming events will focus your attention on inefficiencies, mistakes in judgment, and problems affecting your life in a relationship where someone is not pulling his fair share of the load. You may have to cope with the troubles produced by someone with no "money sense," someone who is always having financial problems, who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, overly status conscious, who wastes his time and talents ... and scoots by through mooching off others.

You absolutely do need to realign this relationship and get this energy out of your life. You especially need to do this if this description in any way fits you! The attitudes you will have to handle now place excessive and constant emphasis on physical enjoyment. You may be too focused on gaining material power -- or simply solving chronic economic crises. Or you may be tangled up in a relationship where these are the predominant concerns.

It's not at all a positive place to be. And if you simply find yourself observing such a situation ... and it's little educational message ... from the sidelines of life (in other words, you see somebody else having to work through this issue ... while you get to walk away whistling), don't get too cocky. Consider it a cautionary warning of something in your world that may be working away quietly behind your back.

Living with a constant sense of lack is deadly to the soul. It robs you of perspective. It reinforces an erroneous message that you have no right to exist and that life is "a constant struggle." It often points to a significant flaw in one's abstract values ... and in life's magical way, correcting one side of that equation will bring the results you want to see on the other.

Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Instability

You may have to scramble to make ends meet over the next few days, or find yourself fretting over a shortfall in the budget, or dealing with unexpected expenses that add their own special "color" to your world.

There are several ways this energy could come to your attention -- a purchase that's more expensive than you anticipated -- and that possibly has to be deferred for that reason, a need to stretch available money over enough items to meet your requirements -- or hopes -- that really keeps you counting pennies while you spend; the realization that you've splurged more than you meant to -- or having to cut back on things you want until the income catches up with outgo again.

Another possibility with this energy is simply fretting over money -- regardless of the balance in your checkbook. That's an experience even the truly wealthy have from time to time. And finally .... since this card deals with all physical resources, you may find yourself physically tired, overworked, stressed, or even ill ... if you're not careful.

The good news is ... the energy is temporary -- instability rather than total depletion, so you will catch up on both your ledger sheets and your physical stamina again. It will just take a little recovery time.
