The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Heading in the right direction.
Artists and mystics talk about "being in flow." This is that wonderful state in which you lose track of time, effort is effortless, and ideas come easy. "Flow" is about being in the right place at the right time ... and being who you truly are.
When was the last time this happened to you? (I do not mean the last time you were zoned out in front of the television. I mean the last time you were actively doing something you love so much, you lost yourself in the experience.) What were you doing? And when will you do it again?
There is no better feeling than to know you are where you should be in life, doing what you were meant to do ... and that you are in the right place at the right time.
An additional thought to ponder:
From Mihaly Csikszentmihaly:The excellence of daily life finally depends not on what we do, but on how we do it.

When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy,
care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Regaining your love of living
If relationships have caused you serious concern for a while, this card is the joyful assurance that better times are fast approaching. In the next few days, you should either find ways to greatly alleviate these worries or adjust your attitude and perspective so that the result is pretty much the same -- a sense of ease, relief, calm, and more confidence in your ability to cope.
This energy is about re-engaging with life again, rediscovering your feelings of joy, and finding meaning in the tasks and experiences that have your attention now. You may have missed that for a while, so the contrast may be obvious and welcome!
In applying this emotional renaissance to your partnerships and connections to other people, remember this: what you do to support your association should not exhaust your inner spiritual assets. Part of being in a relationship involves being able to take care of yourself ... and being strong enough in that to offer resources, strength, commitment, and "the best of yourself" to your partners.
You need something left over to nourish your own sense of joy, however ... and you need to take delight, comfort, and benefit yourself from the association. A relationship that does nothing except drag you down ... is a feature of life you can do without.
Today's affirmation:
I recognize the need to nourish my love of living ... and the loved ones in my life.

Kindness and intelligence don't always deliver us from the pitfalls and traps:
there are always failures of love, of will, of imagination.
There is no way to take the danger out of human relationships.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Competence and compensation
Today's energy deals in prudence, wisdom, competence, and self-mastery. Experiences in the near future will bring you a time of harvesting, organizing, systematizing, or attending to details ... most probably in the practical, professional, financial, or "work-related" details in your life. This may involve simply a time of "taking care of life's business," but it also asks you to consider with pride the work you do, the service you provide, and the success you've achieved.
Emphasis now is on your being centered, clear-headed, integrated, and bringing order to your life where there may be untidiness or chaos. You may be taking stock of your situation, assets, skills, professional resources, education, possessions, and proficiency in taking care of yourself, your business and professional interests, your clients and customers, ... or simply "managing life in general."
You've done well at these things, especially given the challenges you've been handed along with the opportunities. It's time to pat yourself on the back and accept some self-congratulation.
An extra piece of advice:
This card often carries the flavor of "giving good work for good value," and being paid what you're worth for the work you do. That, too, may be part the day ahead ... and the tenor of the time to come.

We must believe in ourselves or no one else will believe in us; we must match our aspirations with the competence, courage and determination to succeed.
