What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Coping with change
You may deal with the process of internal change over the next several days ... which, of course, is where the greatest changes always occur. You may also continue to experience the fallout or repercussions from some recent, substantial, external change whose ripples and adjustments are still causing shudders in other areas of your life now ... and in you as well.
An extra piece of advice:
You can never change "just one little thing" ... not about yourself, your life, your relationships, your work ... or anything else. Whether it's a change for the better or for the worse ... the change itself will change other things. Just as no man is an island, no event in the real world occurs in a vacuum.

A good history covers not only what was done, but the thought that went into the action. You can read the history of a country through its actions.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Competence and compensation
Today's energy deals in prudence, wisdom, competence, and self-mastery. Experiences in the near future will bring you a time of harvesting, organizing, systematizing, or attending to details ... most probably in the practical, professional, financial, or "work-related" details in your life. Coupled here with relationships in your forecast, this may involve simply a time of "taking care of life's business" in conjunction with your important partners and associates.
Emphasis now is on your being centered, clear-headed, integrated, and bringing order to your life where there may be untidiness or chaos. You (and your partners) may be taking stock of your situation, assets, skills, professional resources, education, possessions, and proficiency in taking care of one another, taking care of yourselves ... or simply "managing life in general."
An extra piece of advice:
This card often carries the flavor of "giving good work for good value," and being paid what you're worth for the work you do. That, too, may be part of the tenor of the time to come.

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Rediscovering joy
Expect to get a wake-up call in the next few days ... demonstrating how you are drifting, wasting time, being irresponsible, not using your talents, feeling sorry for yourself, being pessimistic, lazy, and generally indulging your Inner Victim. This may specifically involve something to do with your finances, economic situation, possessions, or income sources.
You may be investing yourself very poorly ... and thus cheating yourself of rewards and goals that should be much more within your reach. You may be working from or clinging to false values. You may simply have the inner message that you somehow don't deserve to be happy, to live comfortably, or to prosper.
That realization, of course, is the first step toward standing up, adjusting your attitude, and putting yourself back in charge of you inner creative life and your emotional well-being again.
You may encounter this energy "by example," too ... through an encounter with someone else who acts this out for your benefit ... and education. If you find yourself dealing with someone living in a world of his own, running away from reality through counter-productive strategies, complaining that nobody loves him and that he never gets a break ... and using these excuses to continue mucking his way through life -- you've got a cautionary tale unfolding right before your eyes.
Be sure you're not buying into some of the same futile tactics, and be doubly sure you're not playing the part of the "patsy" ... helping somebody else stay on this pointless merry-go-round with endless offers of "help," money, understanding, advice, and sympathy.
An extra thought to ponder:
Do you know what it takes for you to be happy? Many people don't. Even the structure of our language seems to put that state outside ourselves somehow. We speak of something "making" us happy, as if we are passive pawns of circumstance. We're not, and if we stop acting and thinking otherwise, happiness is a lot easier to find.

Nobody really cares if you're miserable, so you might as well be happy.
