What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
A lack of cooperation
Today may be marked by opposition, disagreements, frustration, feeling stalled, and being unable to find the cooperation and support you need from others. A compromise or new set of rules you thought you'd established ... may not work out. Even your own resolve to "handle things differently" doesn't seem to help you much at this point.
You may not have a clear vision of what you want to accomplish -- or you may face blockages to which you will not respond well. You may simply be unable to respond effectively to the challenges at the moment, which seem to result from you and someone else pulling in different directions, having different aims in mind, failing to cooperate, or possibly he (or she) is not responding to you with the help and honesty you need and expect.
For whatever reason, you are left feeling stymied and unable to move forward. Rethinking your goals ... and realigning the resources you need to attain them ... may be on the agenda today instead of making the discernible progress you'd hoped for or intended.
Today's affirmation:
I can step back, reassess my situation and the raw materials I have to work with, and choose different tactics and associates with which to accomplish my goals.

Men are able to trust one another,
knowing the exact degree of dishonesty they are entitled to expect.

For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Using assets wisely
You may soon encounter a situation that involves financial mentoring. It may be anything from a formal meeting with an investment counselor, to an example you notice of someone managing his business and his money wisely, to an off-hand remark that gets you thinking carefully about your own budgeting, spending, and handling of money. When this happens, pay attention. You could learn something valuable ... maybe even for free.
An additional thought to ponder:
Making the most of the assets you have in your relationships is one way to ensure success for everyone ... you and your partners. There will be things each of you can provide better, more easily, more abundantly than the other. The whole concept of teamwork is built around the idea that one person can "invent the wheel" ... so that everybody doesn't have to do the work over again (and over and over again) himself.

Take my assets -- but leave me my organization and in five years I'll have it all back.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Making up your mind
You will come to a moment when your own willpower and the courage to make realistic choices are the next ingredients you need to create something of value in your life -- probably something deeply connected to your financial arrangements, sources of income, personal possessions, handling of money, or investments.
This may also concern making some serious decisions about your professional course. It likely will impact your lifestyle -- probably for the better. It may also involve a decision to "take better care of yourself physically" ... which a decision to live better, with less stress and more joy, would certainly present.
Daydreams, fantasies, and imagination are wonderful raw materials ... but eventually the "moment of truth" arrives and you need to create something real from the stuff of vision. Such a moment will soon arrive and stare you right in the face.
Take a deep breath, re-evaluate your emotional needs in life, consider the options and raw materials you have at hand, and start drawing a new picture on the canvas of your life ... creating the outlines of a new reality where right now only your desire for change and experience exists.
An additional thought to ponder:
Every day is a new beginning. You face each new morning with a choice to continue creating the life you have ... or to do what it takes to create something else.

A woman who is willing to be herself and pursue her own potential runs not so much the risk of loneliness as the challenge of exposure to more interesting men -- and people in general.
