For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Healing injury
What one thing do you regret most in your life? If you can be completely honest with yourself ... were there choices you made to cause it, choices that brought it about, choices you would make differently today -- if you had the chance? Is there, in fact, something you can do about it ... with resolve, or courage, or determination?
Do you need to make amends with anyone? A set of actions and consequences you need to come to terms with? An apology that would ease your conscience ... or somehow improve life?
Is there someone you feel owes this to you? You may have to live with the fact that this person may never "be sorry," will never own up to their behavior, will never try to put things right ... may flat not care how badly he (or she) behaved or how badly you were hurt. Is there anything you can do yet to get past this? Forgive it? (Not forget. Not condone. Not excuse. Not act like "everything's fine again.") But rather, is there a way you can get beyond it so that it no longer hurts, no longer consumes your thoughts and energy, no longer is an issue in your life? The answer may honestly be "No, not yet." But for your own sake, you need to keep looking for ways to make it so. You forgive someone not for his sake, but for yours. You do it to be whole and strong again ... and to able to reclaim your life despite the injury you were caused. You do it to break your ties with the one who injured you ... in order to be yourself again.
An additional thought to ponder:
From Eric Allenbaugh: Yes, there are times when something is legitimately not our fault. Blaming others, however, keeps us in a stuck state and is ultimately rough on our own self-esteem.

A man who has committed a mistake and doesn't correct it
is committing another mistake.

The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Using common sense
Relationships require a very sane and sober approach today. It's a day to use money wisely, to deal sensibly with health issues, to assess common business goals and ambitions, and to be realistic about what you and your partners are able to supply in the way of work, assets, information, and commitment to the daily business of living.
This isn't the most romantic energy around ... but it is a very necessary part of handling the demands of other people and the challenges of physical reality. Be level-headed, sincere, and pragmatic. Meet your partners halfway and more in the sometimes thankless tasks of "taking care of business." Be ready to learn something new ... or adopt a new approach ... that could make life run more smoothly. Everyone concerned will appreciate that.
An extra piece of advice:
Money, the conduct of daily routines, health matters, lifestyle issues, business goals, the sharing of tasks and chores ... all are highlighted now. Be dependable, responsible, conservative ... and just "get the work done."

Few things help an individual more than to place responsibility upon him, and to let him know that you trust him.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Inadequate resources
You will likely discover that some project, effort, or goal you have in mind ... something either in the early stages of development or something you want to expand or take to a more substantial level ... lacks the resources necessary for you to make that move at the moment. Unless you cobble them up and find a way to provide the time, money, effort, cooperation, energy, or other assets you need, your great plans will come to nothing.
Consider the possibility that you yourself may be too physically exhausted or overcommitted to take this matter on at the moment. Or you may not have enough money to do what you want to do for the time being. This doesn't mean you have to shelve the project indefinitely. But you should take stock of your available "raw materials" ... and consider what it takes to reach your goals. If this ambition is worth pursuing, it's worth the best foundation you can provide.
Today's affirmation:
I know how to spend my physical and financial resources wisely. And I know when to judge that I just don't have "enough" on hand to do my best work.

Poverty of goods is easily cured; poverty of the mind is irreparable.
