The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.

Closure
It's time to render judgment on some phase, project, relationship, experience, or level of learning in your life ... and bring it to a close in preparation for moving on to something else soon. Indeed, the energy of "passing judgment," rendering a verdict, or finding the kernel of meaning and truth you were meant to acquire as a result of this time in your life that's ending ... is where you need to focus attention for a while.
Along with bringing matters to a close and distilling the value of your effort into something pithy and useful, you can look forward to a time of awakening, renewal, and renaissance. It's possible a change of consciousness can come from this -- for there is a long history of development and participation implied by the appearance of this card and its energy. You may have worked with the "theme" of this time in many different guises and circumstances. Now, you need to define your benefits ... and new wisdom .. and get ready welcome "the next step."
An additional thought to ponder:
Summing up can be a time of rest and hiatus, the figurative sigh of satisfaction that lets you release the old and draw in the new -- just as your controlled breathing does in meditation. Starting a new chapter in a book, a new set of courses in a schedule of study, a new level of responsibilities in your work, or moving on to a more intimate and exciting texture in a relationship can renew and reinvigorate your soul. Savor it all when it comes. This, too, is what life is about.

We dance round in a ring and suppose,
But the Secret sits in the middle and knows.

Closed-minded attitudes
In the next few days you may have to cope with someone whose attitude is critical, negative, and unfair. This may come in the form of an actual person who is sarcastic, opinionated, a trouble-maker and a know-it-all. You may also have to handle some incorrect or deliberately twisted information, or something blatantly self-serving to the interests of the person offering it.
This card can describe someone with a self-righteous, hateful, prejudiced, scheming attitude who shows up and spills his ugliness out for you to deal with. It can also indicate problems you have in your own attitude toward some important "general issue" in your life now.
You may have magnetized this atmosphere into your experience -- in an effort to get you to change your own mind about some basic ideas you hold which are hindering you -- perhaps severely -- at the moment.
You may need a whole fresh approach to the routine of your daily life, some new subjects to engage your interest, or just a major change of pace. Your "negative attitude" may be nothing more than the product of stress and fatigue ... but a more positive outlook on your life would be a benefit -- for sure.
An extra thought to ponder
When the only tool you have is a hammer ... you're liable to treat the rest of the world like a nail. The cure for this, of course, is to acquire different kinds of tools -- and see problems as having many different approaches and solutions.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who do survive.

For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Disagreements
You will need to resolve differing opinions between yourself and someone else, or simply within yourself on a matter serious enough to upset you with its lack of a clear answer -- and which may bear significantly on your economic condition and financial interests.
These different viewpoints will represent philosophies and opinions which are at variance with one another. Each may have very good reasons to support its position ... or, in a very clotted and difficult situation, you may have to choose between the lesser or two evils. (Don't you just love those moments??!!)
This card can also indicate a quarrel ... or a situation in which one has to deal with very conflicting information -- perhaps conditions in which there really is no right answer. A compromise which serves the best interests of everyone involved may be very hard to find ... which means the diplomat in you may really have his (or her) work cut out to do in the next several days.
An extra piece of advice:
This card quite often indicates a clash serious enough to evoke fear, fear of making a wrong choice, fear of acting on bad information, fear of jeopardizing yourself or something you've worked to accomplish, fear of trusting the wrong person or the wrong set of data, or even fear of raising a more substantial problem.
Although this card also indicates this is a temporary situation where you can find an answer you can live with, you would be wise to act with conscious deliberation here. Consider carefully what you do and what you say so your emotions don't escalate further and prompt more extreme reactions than you'd have chosen if you'd taken time to think clearly.

Study any confusion and you find it is peace in an early stage.
