You seem to be seriously worried about a situation that "just has no easy answers." This is an odd card to come up now given its very positive companions today ... and the reasonably benign ones of the last several days. Chances are this forecasts the arrival of a very serious problem "from out in left field," something you hadn't anticipated at all ... or implies that you may be needlessly scaring yourself over a situation that doesn't warrant nearly the anxiety you feel.

If you are fretting yourself about some circular issue that has you sleepless and tied up in knots ... consider that paranoia and fatigue may be raising the emotional stakes in ways that don't really gain you any benefit. See if there isn't another way to view the problem ... that isn't nearly so fearsome. You may be borrowing lots more trouble than you need to over this.

The next few days may bring you back to "an old familiar place" in your relationships or important associations ... a place sadly distinguished by its lack of satisfaction, disappointing outcomes, and quite possibly the feeling that "you just can't win." Psychologists call this pattern a "game" ... because it is usually characterized by habits, moves, responses, and expectations that have failed before -- and don't have much chance of turning up different results no matter how often you go through the motions.

This setback may be especially cruel because it frequently comes after a time of rising hopes ... and the belief that you've learned the strategies and methods you need to get past this point -- and go on to another game.

Occasionally, this card indicates a time of deep disappointment in someone else -- possibly because a person turns out not to have the character and virtues you'd hoped for ... or because he (or she) breaks a promise or lets you down one more time ... when the truth is, you really knew they would.

If this discomfort is serious enough ... or this division becomes crippling, you obviously need to give this matter some careful attention.

You may also be refusing to listen to wise counsel and good advice regarding your financial life, security matters, possessions, money management, or the power you have over physical resources -- including your own time and energy. You may feel unhappy, unappreciated, victimized, even "used" ... but not acting (or not using your own guidance) to change the situation.
