What's in the Cards?
For Life
The Tarot's advice to help you live a life with conscious meaning.
Today's Theme for Daily Life
Being caught in tunnel-vision
b
You may soon confront in no uncertain terms a set of circumstances related to a long-standing problem, choice, dilemma, or limiting condition in your life where you feel caught, imprisoned, trapped, hemmed in, and pinned down ... with no good way out of the mess. As I said, you've probably faced -- and been aggravated by -- this situation for a long time, and still it continues.
When this happens ... look around you. If you see people who do not have this problem as a major feature in their lives, it's because they have made different choices. The chances are very, very good ... you can do that, too!!
You may have dealt with this problem long enough for the stress it causes to affect your ability to think clearly. Continuing to live this way is not an acceptable option. Start actively implementing ways to change it, even if those might cause you more temporary aggravation and problems in the short-run. Look around you. Open your mind. There are others answers waiting to reveal themselves to you ... if only you will look and listen.
An extra piece of advice:
We often cling to our problems, restrictions, limitations, and difficult circumstances because "the devil you know is better than the devil you don't." This is not, however, a wise way to live at all.

Every person takes the limits for their own field of vision for the limits of the world.

What's in the Cards?
For Love
The Tarot's advice to help you work constructively with
the challenges of relationships.
Today's Theme for Relationships
Defending your position
b
Over the next few days, you may have to deliberately protect your interests, hold on to what you believe, and defend what you have accomplished -- within the context of a friendship, relationship, partnership, marriage or other personal association. The experience itself may, in retrospect, seem like the Universe's way of separating the players from the push-overs. It's time to know for sure which you are.
You may experience circumstances where someone is "testing you" in search of weaknesses or soft spots ... or you may see that game of sly probing and subtle examination played out in someone else's life. It's the kind of thing that goes on all the time, and watching the maneuvers when they involve other people can be just as educational as being one of the principals in this psychological tug-of-war.
An extra piece of advice:
When it comes to the ultimate "bottom line" you really do have to take a stand ... and "take care of Number One." If you don't, there's not a lot of chance someone will step in and do it for you. There's more of a chance someone will walk all over you instead.

An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.

What's in the Cards?
For Money
The Tarot's advice to help you work with issues of
worth, value, survival, practicality, and pleasure ...
as a spiritual being in a material world.
Today's Theme for Money and Practical Concerns
Dealing with attitudes that are petty, narrow-minded, and manipulative
b
You may encounter a very insincere, deceitful, gossipy, two-faced, or embittered person -- or a situation where these qualities are clearly on display, in some matter involving money, property, possessions, financial arrangements, investments, or income. Sometimes this energy comes disguised as someone who smiles to your face ... and then stabs you in the back. If your intuition tells you someone is not to be trusted, pay attention to it!!
It's also possible you may soon have to deal with someone who is jealous, impatient, rigid, insensitive, and controlling. When it happens ... watch how easy it is for this person to provoke these same attitudes and behaviors in you.
In a less positive scenario, this card warns that these attitudes in you may be causing you financial problems -- possibly without your realizing it -- and certainly causing you unnecessary stress and fatigue.
An extra piece of advice:
If someone is treating you unfairly ... being hateful, overly critical, too demanding, and giving you no respect or credit for who you are or what you do, you have no obligation at all to put up with it. Tolerating abuse is a form of mistreating yourself.

Anger is a symptom, a way of cloaking and expressing feelings too awful
to experience directly -- hurt, bitterness, grief and, most of all, fear.
