The energy here is that of "not enough money," a shaky position, monetary lack, and feeling victimized, exploited, powerless, and "taken advantage of." You may not have good ways to compensate for this problem ... but at least you recognize it for the handicap it is and are working with its limitations honestly and directly.

Additionally, you are dealing with a lot of impatience. You may be making or have recently made some moves that were not well-considered and which do not have the support you need to make the most of the changes they bring. You could also be letting other people dominate your thinking and "make your decisions for you."

You are not considering your options, possibilities, responsibilities, resources, or abilities in ways that offer you the full range of available potentials. You may, instead, be kicking up misunderstandings, opposition ... or at the least a lack of cooperation from those you need to help you succeed in this present venture. You may also be coping with a lot of mixed messages and your own ambivalence.

As long as things are jumbled as they are regarding this energy of "missing alliances and no support," you might be wise to pause and wait for things to clear before proceeding. Right now you are not heading toward a successful result or the advantageous use of what you are working with.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you have decided to "go back to the drawing board" in terms of partners and allies, outside resources, or your own mixed feelings on this matter and try to reorganize this part of your situation into something more cohesive. There may not be much difference showing in the outside world yet, but you are making some important inner changes and behind the scenes adjustments that will be better in the long run.

If this meaning resonates strongly with you regarding your present situation, consider that it also is a message the card is suggesting for you to receive.

You are spinning your wheels, going through an old familiar cycle of rising hope ... followed by disappointment and dashed expectations. You need to break the pattern of thinking that keeps you going round and round in this cycle, and maybe understanding the profound effect this energy and the ideas that support it have on your thinking, your choices, and your ultimate future will help.

Your situation contains a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This person is lazy, dishonest, a swindler, a fraud. He (or she) is irresponsible, manipulative, overly concerned with creature comforts or "taking the easy way out." He is self-indulgent, a "taker," a false friend .. and an emotional drain on those around him. Attitudes present here include insincerity, "living in a dream world," wanting others to take care of him or rescue him, and being focused only on how he can "use" people.

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected. You realize how much this person -- or these attitudes -- are harming your ability to launch effective action. You are at least able to deal with this matter openly and directly -- even if you feel limited in your choices about what to do with it.

You have an unused asset in your situation. It is time to make a new beginning, construct a new vision of what you want to accomplish -- or become, or launch a new start buoyed on a new sense of self-confidence and new opportunities. This may involve a new sense of who you are, new ways of honoring and "being true" to yourself, new purposes, and new goals.

You need to embrace new energy and enthusiasm ... and know you are going in the right direction and stepping up to a new level of personal development and achievements. You may not yet know this resource is available to you ... or how to make the best use of it. This is something you need to consider carefully -- and assess soon to use to your own advantage.

You will find allies and a cooperative network of support available to help you with this matter. The near future in this situation puts you in touch with opportunities for teamwork, advice, and help.

You are heading into a resolution where your own clear thinking and creative energies are right at hand and ready for you to use. You will be able to develop and use your talents and abilities -- by making decisions you can trust and acting on information that is rock solid and true. You will know you are moving in the right direction, that you will see your plans through to completion, and that your self-reliance and intellect is unshakeable and sound.

This energy is that of speaking the truth, bringing thoughts into physical manifestation, saying what you mean, and asking directly for what you want. Sometimes there are no finer assets than straight thinking and straight talk.
