You may be dealing with energy that is tyrannical, controlling, domineering, and abusive. You may also be wasting opportunities and not building anything constructive at this point.

This card's energy can also mean someone in your situation (possibly you yourself) are being lazy and indifferent ... drifting when you ought to be doing ... or at least paying better attention. You are not exercising proper self-discipline or self-control. You ... or someone influential in your situation ... may want success without doing the necessary work. You also may be dealing with negative or unethical motives.

You suffer overall from a lack of courage, determination, leadership, and action. You may be mismanaging an important situation ... and making no progress. You ... or someone in this situation ... may be displaying or coping with toxic ego issues, interested only in self-advancement or self-promotion. You may also be coping somehow with delusions of grandeur ... or a complete lack of integrity, ability, and ambition.

You have a valuable asset in your situation. This person is practical, generous, business-like, able to take on and handle responsibility. She (or he) is prosperous, able to handle money and make sound economic decisions. She is thoughtful, secure, able to deal with the physical side of life. She may have her own successful career or established profession ... or be equally committed and competent at the chores she takes on, whether or not she does them for money.

She is willing to work hard, provides for the physical needs of others without being asked, knows that is needed and automatically supplies that as part of her "job." She is confident, realistic, and sensible She may be a little too involved with "getting useful results" ... or arranging "something that works, that does the job" ... and with the economic considerations of money, the use of resources, and "the bottom line." She may thus seem more hard-edged and hard-headed than soft and sympathetic, but she certainly has her valuable place in the world.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future. You have this resource easily at hand and can use it now to your own best advantage. It has substantial impact on your ideas and decisions and the way in which you view your situation.

A fair amount of money or professional success are both available to you, and you are finally able to apply this asset to your own benefit.

You are in a situation that is balanced, stable, successful, and "complete but not satisfying." This energy contains feelings of boredom, stagnation, discontent, lack of motivation, and even mild depression. You need to re-evaluate your position, your priorities, potentials, relationships, needs, and desires. It is time to look inward, see how you need to re-engage with life, break up some of your familiar but stale routines, and find a new situation where you are doing more than treading water and "going through the motions."

You may not see a way to accomplish this ... or compensate for the problems it is causing you. You may also be in denial about the handicap this represents now in your life.

Soon, you will need some time to fantasize, dream, brainstorm ... and refocus your intentions. You may find yourself in a period of indecision, confusion, and inertia ... where fantasy is preferable to reality, and the ability to act is hindered by a lack of clear direction. You may need to concentrate, be realistic, and not get lost in wishful thinking -- or simply spinning your wheels ... and getting nowhere. There is also a danger of becoming lost in a fantasy world ... or in addictive pursuits that, in the end, gain you nothing.

Ultimately, you will meet someone who will help you work through what is happening here. This person is artistic, creative, well in touch with his (or her) emotions. He has a deep respect for life and living things, and a compassion that enables him to work constructively with less fortunate, dependent people. He is an idealist ... especially when it comes to love and his ability to work with others.

He is charming and enjoys people -- friends and family in particular. He is a dreamer ... and may be something of a mystic. He can help you "find what's in your heart" regarding the matter you are working with. He may also be able to show you the hidden, emotional, or artistic dimensions of your situation.

This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development.
