This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You have a helpful person or a very beneficial set of attitudes in your situation. This person is introspective -- but may have a very upbeat and enthusiastic personality. He is interested in learning who he is and what his "mission in life" may be about. He has ambition and charisma. He is learning to make his mark on the world ... even if through the sheer force of his personality -- which may be substantial.

This person is energetic, volatile, impulsive, and likes to stir up excitement. He is outgoing, generous, innovative, competitive, positive, and bold. He is interested in becoming all he can be -- and is a natural leader, although he may be relatively "new" at the tasks that occupy him at the moment.

He will clearly have the potential to "get noticed" and develop a following. He takes risks, shows determination, is always up for "learning more" ... and may be willing to "try anything once."

This energy may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality coming to the forefront to aid you or promote their own further development. You are, however, aware of its presence ... and are able to make direct use of the benefits it brings. It may also represent good news about something you are trying to accomplish or become -- something which offers you the encouragement you've been looking for and enables you to go forward.

You also face a situation where a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes have considerable influence. This may involve someone who has -- or causes -- chronic financial problems, someone who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, and who "uses" people ... especially to his own financial advantage.

You may also face attitudes that are unethical, calculating, financially stingy -- or financially greedy, and where "doing things the easy way" is a primary concern. Accommodating this person may be chronically costly to your career progress, your pocketbook, and your physical health.

Because energy is always a two-way street -- this may represent another person in your situation, or it may be a side of your personality you are reluctant to confront or control. You may not even want to admit it exists.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you need to do some serious work to refocus your thinking about money, business decisions, commercial transactions, and the use of time and other resources. It can mean a new way of conducting your financial life and managing your economic situation is waiting to unfold ... and you need to do the inner work -- and the groundwork -- to discover it.

If the description of the difficult personality above doesn't seem to fit your circumstances, or if this interpretation resonates more emphatically with the situation you are handling, then consider this to be the message the card is offering you.

You are in circumstances where the lack of money is a problem ... and the stress of financial anxiety may be serious enough to cause physical symptoms. This condition is temporary -- but it can still cause you some tension. You are, however, able to deal with these matters openly and directly. They aren't "coming up on your blind side" at this point, but they are having a significant influence on your thinking and your choices.

You are in a situation that involves money problems, material hindrance, uncontrolled spending, obstacles, and delays in your financial life. The energy here is that of "not enough money," a shaky position, monetary lack, and feeling victimized, exploited, powerless, and "taken advantage of." You may not have good ways to compensate for this problem ... but at least you recognize it for the handicap it is and are able to work with its limitations honestly and directly.

You have been forced into a lonely, isolated position ... probably for your own eventual good, but you may not like this at all. This may be the result of your failure to listen to good advice and wisdom -- especially that of your own conscience. You may have to consider this a lesson in your ongoing development .. a way to deepen your maturity and your connection to your own Inner Wisdom.

You may, however, need to confront your own foolish vices and choices, your childish dependencies, and your stubborn refusal to learn. Possibly your refusal (or failure) to share your ideas -- or hear the voice of your own inner wisdom has brought you to an impasse. You will need to get back in touch with your true essence ... and give up your absorption with ego concerns and transient matters in the outer world.

You may not yet know how to overcome this condition, use this situation to good advantage, or compensate for the problems it causes you. You may also be in denial about the meaning of this arrangement ... or the extent to which your habits and attitudes are hindering you.

At least in the interim, you are heading for a situation where you goal has not been achieved. You are left unsatisfied and running on empty.

Ultimately, you are heading for a resolution where you will be "caught unprepared" for the challenge you are facing. You may be pressured by superior opposition or some kind of competition where you are ill-equipped to prevail. The upshot is, you will not be ready to defend yourself or your position adequately. You may feel threatened, "taken advantage of," and outmaneuvered.

You will be unable or unwilling to do what is needed or successfully confront your adversaries. You may choose to turn and run rather than stand your ground. You may simply lack the courage and willpower to deal with what is present at this point.

This is an energy of feeling anxious, uncomfortable, outnumbered, unpopular, powerless, friendless, and victimized.
