This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. You are in a situation where there is a lot of uncertainty, where you have to listen to your feelings and play your hunches -- because there is much more happening beneath the surface of reality than meets the eye.

You must wait a while for the pattern and order here to reveal itself properly. You also need to have faith that things will work out as they should. This could provoke a lot of anxiety, but something important is coming together in the conclusion of this situation -- and for a while, you will just have to exist on the edges of reality where "what might be" is still being solidified into "what truly is."

You also have to cope with a lack in the quality or quantity of support you need to create the vision you have in mind. You may be teamed up with colleagues and allies that simply aren't up to the task at hand. Someone you depended on may let you down with a thud -- or some crucial element in your creation has not arrived or does not perform as required.

You recognize that a new period of growth and expansion is at hand ... and there is more here than meets the eye. This represents a very positive change in your circumstances and a definite upward trend in the issues you are coping with. It is also having a wonderful effect on your outlook, ideas, and attitudes ... and on the choices you are making now with regard to your life.

You are, however, "running on empty," over-wrought, and not getting enough rest. You may need some substantial "down-time" in order to recuperate -- but you may not feel you can afford that luxury. For the time being, you may prefer to ignore the implications of this handicap ... or you may not feel you have any choice but to "work around it."

You have a situation where serious imbalances prevail, where competing interests, separation, and quarrelling are very much part of the atmosphere. The supporting energy in this arrangement is that of bad management and bad judgment, overweening pride, arrogance, and pretentiousness. There is a lot of wasted energy to cope with, a failure to understand others (or feel understood yourself) ... and where stress, frustration, and chaos abound.

You may have arrived here by leaping without looking, pushed hard on an issue where force was not the answer, applied rash, ill-considered ideas, or failed to consider sound advice and different approaches. Now, of course, you have to cope with these problems ... and work to restore harmony as part of your evolution -- and bridge out of this mess.

You may not see a good way to compensate for or fix this situation, or you may not realize how serious a handicap this is in your efforts to handle the issue at hand and move on. You may be very scattered and unfocused in your own feelings, intentions, or goals -- and willing to entertain radical solutions.

Soon, you will meet a person who is practical, generous, business-like, able to take on and handle responsibility. She (or he) is prosperous, able to handle money and make sound economic decisions. She is thoughtful, secure, able to deal with the physical side of life. She may have her own successful career or established profession ... or be equally committed and competent at the chores she takes on, whether or not she does them for money.

She is willing to work hard, provides for the physical needs of others without being asked, knows what is needed and automatically supplies that as part of her "job." She is confident, realistic, and sensible She may be a little too involved with "getting useful results" ... or arranging "something that works, that does the job" ... and with the economic considerations of money, the use of resources, and "the bottom line." She may thus seem more hard-edged and hard-headed than soft and sympathetic, but she certainly has her valuable place in the world.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future.

Ultimately, you will encounter a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes.. This may involve someone who has -- or causes -- chronic financial problems, someone who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, and who "uses" people ... especially to his own financial advantage.

Your situation may also contain attitudes that are unethical, calculating, financially stingy -- or financially greedy, and where "doing things the easy way" is a primary concern. Accommodating him (or her!) may be chronically costly to your career progress, your pocketbook, and your physical health.

Because energy is always a two-way street -- this may represent another person in your situation, or it may be a side of your personality you are reluctant to confront or control. You may not even want to admit it exists.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you need to do some serious work to refocus your thinking about money, business decisions, commercial transactions, and the use of time and other resources. It can mean a new way of conducting your financial life and managing your economic situation is waiting to unfold ... and you need to do the inner work -- and the groundwork -- to discover it.
