This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are in a situation where your "only choice" is perseverance, moving forward, probably against resistance and with difficulty. You will be dealing with heavy burdens of work and responsibility -- probably assumed as a result of your own success. You may need to delegate and make others carry their fair share of the load -- but when push really comes to shove, you will be the only one who can really make things happen and fulfill the requirements that are present here.

You may feel weighted down with worries and concerns, but still required to carry on -- because again, the buck stops with you and you are the only person able to do what has to be done. These circumstances may feel extremely oppressive ... and you may have to decide if you have really bitten off more than you can chew in handling this matter. You will be seriously over-committed and lacking in time for yourself -- or anything else.

You may need to get rid of what you no longer need, find help wherever you can, and get ready for a new level of growth -- because you've gotten about all that's available for you here ... except "more of the same." At this point, however, you are aware of this condition ... and can work with it openly and directly.

You have been forced into a lonely, isolated position ... probably for your own eventual good, but you may not like this at all. This may be the result of your failure to listen to good advice and wisdom -- especially that of your own conscience. You may have to consider this a lesson in your ongoing development .. a way to deepen your maturity and your connection to your own Inner Wisdom.

You may, however, need to confront your own foolish vices and choices, your childish dependencies, and your stubborn refusal to learn. Possibly your refusal (or failure) to share your ideas -- or hear the voice of your own inner wisdom has brought you to an impasse. You will need to get back in touch with your true essence ... and give up your absorption with ego concerns and transient matters in the outer world.

There may be no way for you to overcome this condition, use this situation to good advantage, or compensate for the problems it causes you, but at least you have these attitudes and habits out in the open where you can confront and work with them consciously. You know this is happening ... and you may even understand why.

There is also a problem personality complicating the picture, someone who qualifies as a real trouble-maker. There is a sly cunning to this character, and a secretive, scheming "mean streak" that may make him (or her) particularly hard to get along with. Attitudes of aggression, sarcasm, cynicism, and pettiness dominate -- along with an insufferable spirit of narcissism that may be almost impossible to stomach. You are aware of this ... and you understand how much impact this person or these attitudes have on your own outlook and thinking.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own thinking, opinions, and the way you express your ideas. You may be acting on wrong information. Your prejudices or a serious misunderstanding of the facts could be having too much influence on your thinking. You may be pushing your opinions too hard and alienating others from considering your views objectively. You may realize you've been too one-sided in your thinking or that you haven't been listening well.

You may have decided to pull back for a while and reconsider some of your stronger views and the way you express them that could actually be either misguided ... or hurting your own cause. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

You recognize that a new period of growth and expansion is at hand ... and there is more here than meets the eye. This represents a very positive change in your circumstances and a definite upward trend in the issues you are coping with.

You will have too much going on. You will not be able to stretch the materials and means you have on hand to cover all the necessary bases. You will be spread too thin ... and even careful budgeting may not compensate for what is lacking. The need for constant adjustment may weigh heavily on you.

In the long-term, you are moving into circumstances that involve abundant emotional support, happiness, joy, love, and possibly a new relationship, partner, or ally.
