This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

The lack of joy in your situation, the blocked emotional fulfillment, frustration, and depression are all too evident. You may be facing a lack of real love, manipulation of yourself or others "in the name of love," and a deep sense of genuine unhappiness. You are not doing anything you enjoy.

You don't trust your situation -- or the conditions in it. You feel you lack the necessary support of others around you ... and the basic pleasures you have a right to expect. You may feel unwanted, abandoned, deceived, unsupported, and unable to offer love and support to others. You ... or someone in your situation ... may be "taking and using" -- and that will exhaust everyone concerned before long.

A "personality" is also available in your situation. This person is interested in his own self-development and firm in his personal identity. His integrity is sound. He can be counted on to deliver truth and honesty. When he's around, he makes a definite impression. He is individualistic, very much his own person ... and wants to be where the action is.

He has unmistakable personal charisma, and considers himself a leader -- but he can be a little too pushy for some people's taste. He simply knows how to get things done -- and isn't shy about doing whatever it takes to achieve his goals. He is energetic, intense, impulsive and always "on the go," or "in a hurry."

He can be impetuous, vigorous, enthusiastic, restless, and competitive. He loves adventure, and he loves winning. He also loves life -- and plays the game of it exceedingly well. He is brave, self-aware, confident and dramatic. He is demonstrative, outgoing, warm, generous ... and wants to "shine". He most definitely wants to be noticed.

He may also be able to show you where your own leadership and initiative will benefit the circumstances of your situation. This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development. You understand how to work with this asset -- and are able to do so openly and directly.

You are in a situation where weakness, cowardice, a loss of control, and "taking the easy way out" are on display. This may stem from a lack of self-confidence, self-sabotage, or giving in to pressure and manipulation. You may not see a good way to overcome or compensate for this ... but you are at least dealing with this situation directly, openly, and honestly. It is having a considerable impact on your viewpoints and choices now.

You face difficult choices because of conflicting needs and elements that don't accommodate one another well at all. You may still need to explore options that aren't readily at hand or apparent, and you may have to find compromises between factors that aren't readily or willingly cooperative with either you ... or each other.

A "personality factor" is also part of the equation now, someone fussy, complaining, overly sensitive, paranoid, frustrated, and emotionally undisciplined. This person may be often over-wrought and fretful, obsessive, clinging, and demanding of sympathy and "support" from loved ones -- while offering very little in the way of compassion or even self-control in return. This influence may still be fairly subtle, subdued, repressed, or hidden -- or you may just be less than willing to face this new wrinkle, unless absolutely forced to.

Alternatively: This card could be suggesting that you need to practice more diligent self-care, be more aware of your own need for love, compassion, and emotional support. Often it comes when life and the demands of those in your relationships have exhausted your resources to the point that you need to pull back, take time out for recuperation, and replenish yourself.

You need to become your own best friend for a while ... and restore yourself to the point that you can be that for others again. This may not happen overnight ... but the fact is, you can't give away what you don't have for yourself in the first place -- and it's time to fortify your inner self, in whatever actions are needed, so that you can become a positive source of support for yourself and those you love ... again.

You are about to meet a situation where there is a lot of uncertainty, where you will have to listen to your feelings and play your hunches -- because there is much more happening beneath the surface of reality than meets the eye.

You may have to wait a while for the pattern and order here to reveal itself properly. You may also need to have faith that things will work out as they should. This could provoke a lot of anxiety, but something important is coming together in the outcome of this situation -- and for a while, you will just have to exist on the edges of reality where "what might be" is still being solidified into "what truly is."

Ultimately, you will come to a point where you make up your mind, take action, select from the options you've been considering, and decide to chase one or two of the dreams you've been dreaming. This is the point where the brainstorming process ends ... and the elbow grease gets liberally applied. You decide to solidify your vision and start accumulating the resources you will need to bring your goals into reality.

Of course, both the dreaming and the doing are important parts of creation. And having the courage to do both is necessary to making genuine progress.
