This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are "running on empty," fretting, over-wrought, and not getting enough rest. You may need some substantial "down-time" in order to recuperate -- but you may not feel you can afford that luxury, or you may feel you have no other choice but to keep on going, whatever it takes.

You also have a situation that is unfair, unbalanced, unjust. Someone may have treated you unfairly. You may have been unfair to yourself in order to be fair to somebody else. Possibly you took advantage of a loophole that got you better arrangements than you really deserved -- or someone pulled this on you. Perhaps in this instance there is -- or was -- no way to be fair to everyone. It is, however, influencing your circumstances ... as they unfold.

You are in a place of wealth, stability, comfort, and security ... where you have a comfortable lifestyle and all the resources you need -- at least temporarily. This level of stability is extremely influential in the way you think and the choices you make now.

There is also a problem personality complicating the picture, someone who qualifies as a real trouble-maker. There is a sly cunning to this character, and a secretive, scheming "mean streak" that may make him (or her) particularly hard to get along with. Attitudes of aggression, sarcasm, cynicism, and pettiness dominate -- along with an insufferable spirit of narcissism that may be almost impossible to stomach. You have finally begun to understand how important it is for you to deal with this person ... and the attitudes that accompany him.

Alternatively: You may realize how much you need to focus on your own unproductive ideas, opinions, beliefs, and prejudices ... and make some corrections in the way you view and handle this matter so as to stop being part of the problem instead of part of the solution. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult "other person" as described above, this is likely the message this card is offering to you.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own thinking, opinions, and the way you express your ideas. You may be acting on wrong information. Your prejudices or a serious misunderstanding of the facts could be having too much influence on your thinking. You may be pushing your opinions too hard and alienating others from considering your views objectively. You may realize you've been too one-sided in your thinking or that you haven't been listening well.

You may have decided to pull back for a while and reconsider some of your stronger views and the way you express them that could actually be either misguided ... or hurting your own cause. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

You have happiness, success, joy, and the blessing of supportive relationships available to you, but you may not realize this. You don't seem to be using this fact to your own benefit.

Before long, you will meet a helpful person or adopt a very beneficial set of attitudes. This person is introspective -- but may have a very upbeat and enthusiastic personality. He is interested in learning who he is and what his "mission in life" may be about. He has ambition and charisma. He is learning to make his mark on the world ... even if through the sheer force of his personality -- which may be substantial.

This person is energetic, volatile, impulsive, and likes to stir up excitement. He is outgoing, generous, innovative, competitive, positive, and bold. He is interested in becoming all he can be -- and is a natural leader, although he may be relatively "new" at the tasks that occupy him at the moment.

He will clearly have the potential to "get noticed" and develop a following. He takes risks, shows determination, is always up for "learning more" ... and may be willing to "try anything once."

This energy may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality coming to the forefront to aid you or promote their own further development. It may also represent good news about something you are trying to accomplish or become -- something which offers you the encouragement you've been looking for and enables you to go forward.

Long-term, you will encounter a personality or a set of attitudes that can be quite positive and helpful. This person is "successful" in the conventional career and financial sense of that word.

He (or she) is a business person, and entrepreneur ... someone who may have sacrificed a great deal for the commercial and professional status he enjoys today. He enjoys staying busy. He sets a practical example for others regarding wealth and the use of material resources -- but he may have neglected his emotional side in pursuit of public honor and regard.

He is a provider, an achiever, someone who enjoys prosperity ... and life's worldly pleasures. He is reliable, steady, solid, even-tempered, conventional practical, and analytical. He places emphasis on efficiency, reality, and having good "business sense." He believes in conservative, old-fashioned values and watching out for "the bottom line."

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that have come to the forefront to help you develop it further. This energy is an asset you can readily use to good advantage.
