This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. You've come to a point where you can reinstate reality on an intellectual level. This often means someone has owned up to the truth, made amends, and come to terms honestly with what has happened in the past. You may have given credit to someone you treated unfairly or apologized to someone you harmed. Or someone who has mistreated or slighted you has set the record straight.

Recognition and credit have been given ... if belatedly. Balance is restored. There is greater understanding and honesty in circumstances where misunderstanding, rationalization, deception and even outright lies have previously existed. You can make better, clearer choices -- because at last you're acting on the truth.

You can clarify the information you're working with and allow atonements to happen. You, or someone else, can listen, get the message, learn the lesson, and accept the necessary consequences of past actions. At last, you are no longer fooling yourself, accepting pretty "cover stories," or living in fantasies that have no connection to reality.

It may have been a long unhappy road that brought you here ... but here is a better place to be, and now you can use its advantages to your own benefit.

You have reached a moment of ingenious inspiration, an idea that may have hit you like a lightning strike, it is so powerful ... and potentially significant. You realize the dimensions of this gift. You understand its inspiration and its vision. You understand how you can put its concepts into practice and bring its promise into reality. You are working with it consciously and directly to use its assets to best advantage.

You are dealing with significantly changed circumstances ... ones that result from a long process of evolution and development. They are connected to internal changes in you, with a clear relationship between inner changes having caused outer changes ... and outer changes prompting even more inner ones. This shift in the paradigm of your life is still in progress -- but at this point you are able to deal openly and directly with the ramifications. You also understand these new arrangements are influencing to a great extent the ideas you have and the choices you make.

You are coping with a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes. This person is wasteful, careless with money, possibly too materialistic or too easily impressed with status symbols. He (or she) is without practical direction, may not show much common sense, may lack "a good head for business," and may be in constant financial distress as a result. This person may also be physically ill -- most likely from poor lifestyle choices.

This is someone who doesn't learn ... even from his own mistakes -- of which there may be plenty to choose from as examples of how not to behave. The attitudes present here are hedonistic, vain, status-conscious, contrary, extravagant, impractical, self-absorbed, and unwilling to listen to the voice of experience.

This may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality you need to confront and correct. You may not feel there is much you can do to correct or compensate for the problems this person or this part of yourself presents, but at this point you at least understand what is going on and are able to confront the matter openly and directly -- for all the good it may do.

Alternatively: You may need to step back, go inward, an reconnect with your own common sense. You may also need to rethink some matter involving your career, business life, or commercial enterprises. You may need to learn some thing you don't know at the moment ... or implement some strategies you have only begun to discover. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person -- or a counter-productive set of attitudes, consider this is the message the card intends to deliver to you now.

You are in a situation that involves money problems, material hindrance, uncontrolled spending, obstacles, and delays in your financial life. The energy here is that of "not enough money," a shaky position, monetary lack, and feeling victimized, exploited, powerless, and "taken advantage of." You may not see a way out of this ... or a good way to compensate for the problems it causes you. You may also be in denial about the seriousness of the handicap you are working under.

You will soon reach a point where your own clear thinking and creative energies are right at hand and ready for you to use. You will be able to develop and use your talents and abilities -- by making decisions you can trust and acting on information that is rock solid and true. You will know you are moving in the right direction, that you will see your plans through to completion, and that your self-reliance and intellect is unshakeable and sound.

This energy is that of speaking the truth, bringing thoughts into physical manifestation, saying what you mean, and asking directly for what you want. Sometimes there are no finer assets than straight thinking and straight talk.

Ultimately, you will meet a person who is practical, generous, business-like, able to take on and handle responsibility. She (or he) is prosperous, able to handle money and make sound economic decisions. She is thoughtful, secure, able to deal with the physical side of life. She may have her own successful career or established profession ... or be equally committed and competent at the chores she takes on, whether or not she does them for money.

She is willing to work hard, provides for the physical needs of others without being asked, knows what is needed and automatically supplies that as part of her "job." She is confident, realistic, and sensible She may be a little too involved with "getting useful results" ... or arranging "something that works, that does the job" ... and with the economic considerations of money, the use of resources, and "the bottom line." She may thus seem more hard-edged and hard-headed than soft and sympathetic, but she certainly has her valuable place in the world.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future.
