This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. You are confronting your own immaturity. You have been living too much in the past, clinging to outworn situations, relationships, and worthless associates. Problems from your past continue to pollute conditions in the present ... and deep emotional disappointments keep you from "moving on" ... although that is really your next step in this level of personal growth.

You are caught in unproductive circumstances, dwelling on unhappy past events, dealing with rigid ideas -- your own and those of others. In short, you are not progressing, but are instead sacrificing the present for past longings and regrets ... wondering "what might have been," and staying caught in unproductive nostalgia.

You feel self-indulgent, lazy, out of focus, and stagnant. Your creativity is on hold. You are drifting emotionally. There is a loss of connection in your social life, friendships, and relationships.

You need new interests, new opportunities for growth, new projects to excite your soul. You and others take each other for granted. You are unsatisfied with the love and support available to you. You feel friendless and isolated ... and while you may put on a good front -- that's what it is. A front.

The lack of joy in your situation, the blocked emotional fulfillment, frustration, and depression are all too evident. You may be facing a lack of real love, manipulation of yourself or others "in the name of love," and a deep sense of genuine unhappiness. You are not doing anything you enjoy.

You don't trust your situation -- or the conditions in it. You feel you lack the necessary support of others around you ... and the basic pleasures you have a right to expect. You may feel unwanted, abandoned, deceived, unsupported, and unable to offer love and support to others. You ... or someone in your situation ... may be "taking and using" -- and that will exhaust everyone concerned before long. You are actively looking for ways to solve this.

It has your complete attention now ... and you realize the detrimental effect this has on your thinking and your life.

You are in a situation that involves confusion, anxiety, and upset. You may not know what to do or what to think. Your direction is unclear ... and you may have no good answers for the problems that still face you. This energy is the feeling of being "locked in," trapped, unable to accomplish anything to put your troubles behind you. You need to rethink your choices ... and change some of your fundamental attitudes. You may not have information you need ... or some of your thinking may be skewed and unproductive.

You feel irritated, exasperated, unable to find meaning -- or clarity. This is the sensation of trying to swim against the current ... and needing to make major adjustments in your opinions, ideas, viewpoints, and intellectual positions. You may not see a good way out of this dilemma at the moment ... or ways to compensate for the problems it is causing you, but at least at this point you are able to work with this energy openly and directly, trying to find ways out of the complications it adds to your issue.

Meanwhile, you'll have to cope with a period of "not accomplishing anything constructive," of facing incompetence -- your own or that of others, of being "unprepared" for the problems you're facing, and of trying to reorient your values toward "achieving something worthwhile and profitable" again. This may have become quite a drain on your reserves temporarily.

Soon, you will reach circumstances which are acceptably satisfying, but tinged, nevertheless, with mild regrets. You may realize "what might have been" if you had made different choices, applied different logic, acted more decisively, or used your advantages with greater skill. You may see how to do things better next time. But that will have to wait for another day.

This will make a dramatic change for the better in your circumstances ... an improvement almost as magical as a stroke of good luck.
