This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You have happiness, success, joy, and the blessing of supportive relationships available to you, and you are able to use this to good advantage.

This entails a substantial change, much of which may be internal ... even "unconscious." You may be unaware how much your opinions and views will shift in response to outer experiences and requirements ... and vice versa. This energy, however, marks a time of "permanent transition and improvement" in the way you see your circumstances and the way you cope with their changing conditions.

There is a "personality problem" on the scene, someone malicious, cruel, sarcastic, intolerant, and prone to use his or her superior mental gifts and hurtful tongue as weapons in a situation of "warfare." This may be another person ... or this may be a side of your character, brought out into the open as a result of the stress you are enduring. There is tremendous anger in this person -- and great destructive potential -- but at least they are "out in the open" now where you can face them directly, instead of having constantly to watch your back and wonder what's going on behind the scenes. This person and his or her attitudes are having a substantial influence on your thinking now.

This may be a signal you need to step back, consult your Inner Counselor, and see if there are other options, attitudes, or ideas that you could act on, and that might serve you better in this situation.

A problematic personality or attitude, someone negative, sarcastic, sly, critical, opinionated, argumentative, and undisciplined poses considerable problems for you. This person is superficial, untrustworthy, and uncooperative ... a trouble-maker and a know-it-all. He or she either triggers these attitudes in you ... or you, too, are part of the problem.

These elements and responses may be part of your personality that you need to handle more productively. You may be coping with the results of "bad news" ... or you may be coping with the fact you've been working at cross-purposes with yourself. You are able to work with this truth honestly and out in the open at this point.

You have allies and a cooperative network of support, however, that you can use to your advantage in dealing with this matter. Teamwork, advice, and help are available to you. You may not yet know this, however ... or realize how to apply the assets you have to improve your situation.

Soon, you will reach a resolution where you are failing to take charge of your circumstances ... and your life, conditions where you are either pushing too hard or not exercising your rightful authority in the choices and directions of your own life. You may be dealing with energy that is tyrannical, controlling, domineering, and abusive. You may also be wasting opportunities and not building anything constructive at this point.

This card's energy can also mean someone in your situation (possibly you yourself) is being lazy and indifferent ... drifting when you ought to be doing something constructive and making discernible progress ... or at least paying better attention. You may not be exercising proper self-discipline or self-control. You ... or someone influential in your situation ... may be wanting success without doing the necessary work. You also may be dealing with negative or unethical motives.

You will be suffering overall from a lack of courage, determination, leadership, and action. You may be mismanaging an important situation ... and making no progress. You ... or someone in this situation ... may be displaying or coping with toxic ego issues, interested only in self-advancement or self-promotion. You may also be coping somehow with delusions of grandeur ... or a complete lack of integrity, ability, and ambition.

Ultimately, you are heading for circumstances where you feel unhappy, dissatisfied, "incomplete," and strained. You may also have to cope with loneliness or "being in a rut" that keeps you from moving forward to another level of experience and challenge. Possibly there is a chronic problem you haven't solved yet or a situation you haven't yet brought to closure. There is a heavy energy of dissatisfaction that permeates your world ... of something that just isn't yet what you want it to be.

You may want to release something -- but be unable to. Or you may be holding onto something because it is not what you want it to be yet ... and therefore the foundation you need to move on to another level ... or another situation ... isn't in place to support new growth. Either way, this unfinished business ... and the stagnation in which it exists ... represents the "future" of your situation until you figure out how to break the stalemate.
