This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are in a situation where impatience and wasted effort are very much part of the arrangement. The energy here "keeps pushing" ... instead of stepping back and listening to what might be good advice, intuition, or the offering of better options. You may be determined to make something happen your way. Or you may not want to use other strategies and alternatives -- even though they exist and might be far more effective than the ones you're so fond of.

This energy also indicates you are indulging in fantasies, grudges, paranoia, illusions, escapism, and / or procrastination. You are stuck and stalled -- or not willing to let go and move on -- regardless of whether or not this is getting you the results you want and need. You may be choosing not to rock the boat -- but for all the wrong reasons. You may be refusing to make a necessary decision. You are letting your own hang-ups blind you to all viewpoints except your own.

A problem personality is also part of the equation, someone fussy, complaining, overly sensitive, paranoid, frustrated, and emotionally undisciplined. This person may be often over-wrought and fretful, obsessive, clinging, and demanding of sympathy and "support" from loved ones -- while offering very little in the way of compassion or even self-control in return. You have finally begun to recognize the problems this person ... or these attitudes ... cause, seeing them at last for what they are. It is possible this also represents a part of your personality -- or attitudes triggered in you by the stressful circumstances you are involved with.

Alternatively: This card could be suggesting that you need to practice more diligent self-care, be more aware of your own need for love, compassion, and emotional support. Often it comes when life and the demands of those in your relationships have exhausted your resources to the point that you need to pull back, take time out for recuperation, and replenish yourself.

You need to become your own best friend for a while ... and restore yourself to the point that you can be that for others again. This may not happen overnight ... but the fact is, you can't give away what you don't have for yourself in the first place -- and it's time to fortify your inner self, in whatever actions are needed, so that you can become a positive source of support for yourself and those you love ... again.

You have an important asset in your situation. You have arrangements that are very much in line with who you are as a spiritual being, able to make choices that will help you fulfill your intentions and destiny, and that will advance your personal development to a new level of experience and competence.

These circumstances contain faith, trust, optimism, a sense of fresh beginnings, and a grand feeling of confidence that you know who you are, what you can do, what you want to accomplish, and that you are on the right path.

At this point, you should be willing to take new and appropriate risks, be open to new experiences, doing things ... and making changes ... that are original, unique, insightful, ingenious, and that fully honor you. It's time to stand your ground and stand by your decisions, knowing they are the proper ones for the person you are ... and the person you are becoming.

You understand that these conditions exist ... and that you can use them whenever you want, whenever you need to, whenever you are ready. This wonderful, confidence-building arrangement is having significant impact on your viewpoints and choices now.

You are in a situation where your inclination is to accept shallow, surface answers, where "appearances" are all that matters -- or all that you believe. This is an energy of self-deception, not listening to your feelings and intuition, acting from conceit and pride. It may be too easy to rationalize away what you really know to be true. You may not really dig for deeper answers.

You may also be dealing with people who are one-sided, closed-minded, insensitive, and concerned with keeping up an image. They may provoke some of the same responses in you -- or you may be contributing your fair share all along.

You may wind up making wrong choices, acting irrationally from deep-seated fears and phobias, unable to make decisions you can trust, and unable to see the real issues clearly. You may pull inward for self-protection ... and be loath to take any risks -- because you don't know what to believe.

This is the result of not following your own instincts, of not listening to the wisdom of your heart, of contradicting your own conscience and inner wisdom, and of not being true to yourself. It's a mighty high price to pay, but at least you're aware of the problem ... and are able to deal with it directly and consciously. This is a little bit better than the alternative of having this energy of sabotage and paralysis working on away on your blind side.

You need to make up your mind, take action, select from the options you've been considering, and set off to chase one or two of the dreams you've been dreaming. This is the point where the brainstorming process ends ... and the elbow grease gets liberally applied. It's time for you to decide to solidify your vision and start accumulating the resources you will need to bring your goals into reality.

Of course, both the dreaming and the doing are important parts of creation. And having the courage to do both is necessary to making genuine progress. But you may not realize that the need for action is as imperative as it is becoming. Or you may not know how to take the necessary action or what action to take. Or you may be in denial that your failure to do so will become a serious problem itself if you don't do something about it soon.

Soon, you are heading into a time of unexpected, serious, and sudden changes. This energy is that of disruption, sweeping -- even catastrophic -- changes and adjustments. Old ideas -- even previous ways of living ... end. This may indicate a breakdown in conditions you'd considered solid, permanent, and reliable. It may be brought about by a sudden insight ... or information you'd not previously known -- or been taking into account.

Realize that dramatic as these experiences may be, they can also usher in times of considerable improvement. You are releasing old ways of life, old habits. This may coincide with a dramatic expansion of consciousness or perspective. There is also the possibility of a disturbing "message of truth" you will have to accommodate. You may find you literally see the world as never before. Your whole picture of reality may be different.

This is a change in your overall view of life and your psychological programming. A basic belief about yourself, your circumstances, and "the way the world works" is in the making. Keep reminding yourself, times of crisis can also be ones of great growth.

Ultimately you are moving into a situation where timing problems are a significant factor. You may feel delayed, stagnant, blocked and frustrated -- as if you are making no progress and not moving forward at all. This may prompt you to "start pushing," trying to force some action out of impatience ... perhaps unwisely. In addition to a lack of patience, you may show a lack of tact and diplomacy. You may feel the need to act out of your own pressures -- or to overcome the opposition you face. However, anger and impatience may backfire on you.

You may find you are trying to move in the wrong direction. This energy suggests ruthless, impulsive, ill-advised action. You may be pushing for some result prematurely, or that you are "getting ahead of yourself," not understanding what you're doing or where you are going, or that you are moving in the wrong direction.

However, this card also suggests timidity and ill-advised hesitation. So you may not be pushing something that requires more decisive action to break the stalemate. It can indicate a very confusing and "mixed message" situation ... where you almost have to "go against your impulse" in order to do what is best -- to wait when you want to get going ... and "force the issue" when your inclination is to hold back.
