This situation contains an energy of happiness, contentment, satisfaction, love, harmony, serenity, comfort, and fulfillment ... and you understand this.

Your circumstances also involve conventional behavior, fulfilling your assigned role, playing by the rules, conforming to social and group expectations, seeking approval, and "doing as you're told." There is no provision for experimentation, change, or innovation. This energy supports, "belonging," maintaining the status quo, and applying traditional routines to deal with issues and problems.

In your viewpoints, outlook, and opinions, you are in a position of strength ... where you can use your own force, fortitude, and power to great advantage. This energy contains tremendous energy, steadfastness, and self-confidence. You have access to abundant sources of inner power ... that you can use to your own benefit out in the real world. You are willing to take on challenging projects with the determination to follow them through to success. This is having significant influence on your thinking and choices at the moment.

Among the assets you have available is a new take on your material, physical, and financial situation. You may be able to make a shift in your abstract values, discover a new sense of personal purpose, new sources of wealth, capital, and raw materials, and an improved sense of security. This is an opportunity to get back on your feet. Things are looking up. Future prospects are improved. The world looks different because of this change. You understand the importance of this new opening ... and are able to use it to your advantage.

You also have a problem personality complicating the picture. This one might legitimately be called a trouble-maker. There is a sly cunning to this character, and a secretive, scheming "mean streak" that may make him (or her) particularly hard to get along with. Attitudes of aggression, sarcasm, cynicism, and pettiness dominate -- along with an insufferable spirit of narcissism that may be almost impossible to stomach. You may not yet understand the potential for damage and harm this person -- or these attitudes, for they may be part of you, too -- can cause.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own thinking, opinions, and the way you express your ideas. You may be acting on wrong information. Your prejudices or a serious misunderstanding of the facts could be having too much influence on your thinking. You may be pushing your opinions too hard and alienating others from considering your views objectively. You may realize you've been too one-sided in your thinking or that you haven't been listening well.

You may have decided to pull back for a while and reconsider some of your stronger views and the way you express them that could actually be either misguided ... or hurting your own cause. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

However, something new is about to emerge -- or be accomplished -- involving money, possessions, business opportunities, or your professional directions. You will soon start to build or create something "real" that doesn't exist at the moment.

You are heading toward a resolution that contains a sense of disappointment ... and discovery, the realization that you "haven't arrived yet" at the destination you now have in mind. Where you will be may, in fact, be the place you were originally heading for ... but with more experience and perspective, you will understand that it is just an interim stage on the way to a much larger goal.

Likely you will feel let down and dissatisfied by this knowledge ... because instead of being at the end!! of this particular endeavor, venture, or project, you are still somewhere in the middle -- with yet more work to accomplish. Another possibility is the discovery that you've achieved something that no longer suits you ... that you really no longer want or can use.

You need to make a major course correction in order to set yourself right on a more productive path ... and that knowledge can be temporarily discouraging. The feeling that goes with this time is that of incompletion and of having "yet another mountain to climb."

True, this may not be the result you were originally hoping for ... but it is a moment of understanding that eventually, you'll have more to show for your work than you expected in the beginning.
