This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You are in circumstances where money is a problem. This experience may have cost you more than you expected, or money you were counting on may have evaporated or not arrived, or a lack of resources is playing a pivotal part in what you are coping with now.

You need to be cautious and conservative concerning money, financial arrangements, investments, the use of resources and possessions, and your channels of income.

Beware of believing promises that may let you down seriously if they don't materialize. You need to control your expenses ... and know where your money is coming from as well as where it is going.

Alternatively: This card can indicate a time when you are reorganizing your spending habits, probably in response to changes in your personal values. You may be bringing your financial transactions into closer alignment with your ideas and beliefs.

You are in a situation of wandering, confusion, dissatisfaction, and emotional burn-out. This is an energy of disappointment, inertia, and stagnation ... where you wind up asking, "Is this all there is?" You know you want something "more" ... that this result is not the answer you're after, that you require something with deeper meaning, more engagement, more stimulation and excitement.

The result may well be "starting over," undergoing a reasonably serious identity crisis -- and maybe a time of depression as you decide to abandon what success you've achieved here ... or the relationships you've formed and commitments you've made in order to move on to something else. You may not be thrilled with this message, but at least you are able to work with this influence openly and directly.

You understand you have greater freedom, wider options, and more latitude than you once thought. You see your circumstances differently than you did in the beginning. You are willing to adopt ideas you wouldn't consider before, or accept viewpoints that once seemed "impossible." This change in your thinking is an important asset.

You are in a situation that places an extremely heavy emphasis on material success, money, public status, and "creating the right image." This may involve experiences of serious discontent, depression, and even illness -- as this represents an extraordinary perversion of the natural desire for safety, honor, and respect. This energy turns the need for fame, reputation, achievement, and respect into an obsession ... which will stoop to force, coercion, manipulation, exploitation, and abuse in order to accomplish its ends.

This represents action without understanding, without compassion, without accountability, and without considering the results and effects of what one has set in motion. It often involved someone's overweening ego ... and actions taken out of inordinate pride or in order to "save face" or gain importance. There is a lack of consideration, a pervasive attitude of selfishness and concern for appearances that creates a miserable existence.

Life at this point is seriously off track and out of kilter -- and a major crash in order to make a course correction in these circumstances may loom before too long. You may be either the victim or the perpetrator of these conditions ... but regardless of which side of the equation you fall on, you need to get this fixed -- for everyone's sake.

You do harm even to the one you allow to treat you this way if you let this arrangement continue. You will do untold harm to yourself if you are the one putting this deplorable situation into motion in the first place. You may not see a good way out of this mess ... or how to compensate for the problems it is causing, but at least at this point you do understand this is happening ... and that it needs to be corrected ASAP. You are able to deal with this matter openly and directly now.

You need to confront your own immaturity. You have been living too much in the past, clinging to outworn situations, relationships, and worthless associates. Problems from your past continue to pollute conditions in the present ... and deep emotional disappointments keep you from "moving on" ... although that is really your next step in this level of personal growth.

You will find you are caught in unproductive circumstances, dwelling on unhappy past events, dealing with rigid ideas -- your own and those of others. In short, you are not progressing, but are instead sacrificing the present for past longings and regrets ... wondering "what might have been," and staying caught in unproductive nostalgia. You may not see a good way to overcome or compensate for this "stuck" condition -- or you may be in denial that it is having as harmful an effect on you as it is.

Soon, you will be in a situation of restlessness, desire for change, and a need to restore balance in circumstances that have gone off center. You will have to deal with conditions of unfairness, pressure, and coercion. You may also have to confront wastefulness, self-indulgence, and instability -- either from you or from someone influential in your situation. Overbearing attitudes and unnecessary force may be on display -- either from you or from someone else.

You will find you are misdirecting your energy ... and perhaps placing yourself under considerable tension and stress, which may affect you physically. You will need moderation and greater mental clarity. You or someone in your situation may be overly opinionated, self-willed, compulsive, and self-centered. You may be operating on "automatic pilot" ... or otherwise out of control or failing to give proper direction to your life. This will prove to be an energy that is out of touch and off-track and it will need to be corrected.

Long term, you will need to step back, go inward, pause, surrender to the "inevitable," and listen to the counsel of your Inner Self. You will be in circumstances that require you to have faith and patience, to accept "being in limbo" for a while, and to suspend decisions and actions while you wait for a better sense of direction ... and the lifting of the fog and confusion that may envelope you.

Again, this is a time to seek inner wisdom, to reverse your usual perspectives on life, to find a way to "look at your situation differently." Things unseen are unfolding beneath the surface of your life that will require you take another view of something you've been seeing too narrowly up til now. You need to adopt other opinions, see your world and choices differently, release what is familiar -- and let something new come into being.

Keep an open mind -- and be ready to accept intuitive advice and "other possibilities" as they present themselves. You are at a crossroads, a time of transition and waiting. Be still for now, meditate, ponder, reflect -- and consider your next move, but take your time acting in response to what will come into your life at this time.
