This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

A problematic personality or attitude, someone negative, sarcastic, sly, critical, opinionated, argumentative, and undisciplined poses considerable problems for you. This person is superficial, untrustworthy, and uncooperative ... a trouble-maker and a know-it-all. He or she either triggers these attitudes in you ... or you, too, are part of the problem.

These elements and responses may be part of your personality that you need to handle more productively. You may be coping with the results of "bad news" ... or you may be coping with the fact you've been working at cross-purposes with yourself.

You are in a situation where timing problems are a significant factor. You feel delayed, stagnant, blocked and frustrated -- as if you are making no progress and not moving forward at all. You may "start pushing," trying to force something out of impatience ... perhaps unwisely. You may also show a lack of tact and diplomacy. You may feel the need to act out of your own pressures -- or to overcome the opposition you face. However, your anger and impulsiveness may backfire.

You may find you are trying to move in the wrong direction. This energy suggests ruthless, impulsive, ill-advised action. You may be pushing for a result prematurely, or "getting ahead of yourself," not understanding what you're doing or where you are going, or moving in the wrong direction.

However, this card also suggests timidity and ill-advised hesitation. So you may not be pushing something that requires more decisive action to break the stalemate.

This is a confusing, "mixed message" situation ... where you almost have to "go against your impulse" in order to do what is best -- to wait when you want to get going ... and "force the issue" when you are inclined to hold back. The ambivalence and lack of clarity itself may be a problem, but at least you understand your quandary.

You are feeling self-indulgent, lazy, out of focus, and stagnant. Your creativity is on hold. You are drifting emotionally. You feel a loss of connection in your social life, friendships, and relationships. You need new interests, new opportunities for growth, new projects to excite your soul.

You and others take each other for granted. You are unsatisfied with the love and support levels available to you. You feel friendless and isolated ... and while you may put on a good front -- that's what it is. A front.

You are, however, aware of this dissatisfaction ... and are working to change it honestly and openly. These matters have your full attention ... and you understand how much they affect your thinking and your choices at the moment.

You are dealing with a personality or a set of attitudes that can be quite positive and helpful. This person is "successful" in the conventional career and financial sense of that word.

He (or she) is a business person, and entrepreneur ... someone who may have sacrificed a great deal for the commercial and professional status he enjoys today. He enjoys staying busy. He sets a practical example for others regarding wealth and the use of material resources -- but he may have neglected his emotional side in pursuit of public honor and regard.

He is a provider, an achiever, someone who enjoys prosperity ... and life's worldly pleasures. He is reliable, steady, solid, even-tempered, conventional practical, and analytical. He places emphasis on efficiency, reality, and having good "business sense." He believes in conservative, old-fashioned values and watching out for "the bottom line."

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that have come to the forefront to help you develop it further. This energy is an asset you can readily use to good advantage.

You are in a situation where an important goal has not been achieved. You are unsatisfied and running on empty. You may not see a way around this impasse at the moment ... or you may be unaware how seriously it is hindering you emotionally at the moment.

Soon, you will need to step back, go inward, pause, surrender to the "inevitable," and listen to the counsel of your Inner Self. You will be in circumstances that require you to have faith and patience, to accept "being in limbo" for a while, and to suspend decisions and actions while you wait for a better sense of direction ... and the lifting of the fog and confusion that may envelope you.

Again, this is a time to seek inner wisdom, to reverse your usual perspectives on life, to find a way to "look at your situation differently." Things unseen are unfolding beneath the surface of your life that will require you take another view of something you've been seeing too narrowly up til now. You need to adopt other opinions, see your world and choices differently, release what is familiar -- and let something new come into being.

Keep an open mind -- and be ready to accept intuitive advice and "other possibilities" as they present themselves. You are at a crossroads, a time of transition and waiting. Be still for now, meditate, ponder, reflect -- and consider your next move, but take your time acting in response to what will come into your life at this time.

Farther on, however, a problematic personality or attitude has come onto the scene. You will encounter someone negative, sarcastic, sly, critical, opinionated, argumentative, and undisciplined. This person is superficial, untrustworthy, and uncooperative ... a trouble-maker and a know-it-all.

He or she will either trigger these attitudes in you ... or you will see how you, too, are part of the problem, because these elements and responses are part of your personality you need to handle more productively. Someone may hand you "bad news" ... or you may have to respond to the fact you've been working at cross-purposes with yourself.
