This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You are able to make choices and take action. Circumstances may be forcing a move -- or you may just need to do something to break a feeling of impasse and "getting nowhere." At this point, this energy is out in the open ... and you are able to confront its urgings openly and directly.

A problem personality is also part of the equation, someone fussy, complaining, overly sensitive, paranoid, frustrated, and emotionally undisciplined. This person may be often over-wrought and fretful, obsessive, clinging, and demanding of sympathy and "support" from loved ones -- while offering very little in the way of compassion or even self-control in return. You have finally begun to recognize the problems this person ... or these attitudes ... cause, seeing them at last for what they are. It is possible this also represents a part of your personality -- or attitudes triggered in you by the stressful circumstances you are involved with.

Alternatively: This card could be suggesting that you need to practice more diligent self-care, be more aware of your own need for love, compassion, and emotional support. Often it comes when life and the demands of those in your relationships have exhausted your resources to the point that you need to pull back, take time out for recuperation, and replenish yourself.

You need to become your own best friend for a while ... and restore yourself to the point that you can be that for others again. This may not happen overnight ... but the fact is, you can't give away what you don't have for yourself in the first place -- and it's time to fortify your inner self, in whatever actions are needed, so that you can become a positive source of support for yourself and those you love ... again.

You will ultimately be able to overcome all your problems, delays, and challenges -- and claim victory in this matter. This positive result is the focal point of your thinking and attention at this time.

You are redefining some important goals -- perhaps having to do with your financial life or professional direction. Targets you were once aiming to reach don't suit you any more, or you realize your direction was "off" somehow.

You no longer want what you have been working toward. You may also find you have achieved something that no longer "fits" you. It is time to make a course correction ... perhaps a substantial one. You finally see the need for this ... and perhaps the dimensions of the necessary change. You are finally able to make objective decisions and work with this matter openly and directly.

You will bring this matter to a successful conclusion, but at the moment you may not know this. Or you may not know how.

Soon, you are heading into a situation where doubt, pessimism, and a stubborn lack of perception -- almost a resolute failure to "get the message" or "see the truth" are very much in evidence. This may include a loss of hope or faith, feelings of rejection and confusion, a serious identity crisis, and having to handle the serious problems stemming from your own lack of bad judgment.

You may have a pervasive negative attitude to overcome. You will be coming to terms with past mistakes and trying hard to put things -- including your own experiences -- into perspective. You will feel helpless, victimized, uninspired, and "in the dark." At the very least, boredom and a lack of new goals will cause you considerable aggravation.

This is a time of sadness ... and sufficient discontent to cause mental and emotional problems. Your poor self-image and failure to use your own talents properly may be major causes of your defeated hopes. Your self-doubt not only has sabotaged your past at this point ... it continues to corrupt and jeopardize your future. You need to connect with your personal stamina, convictions, and courage again.

Ultimately, you will emerge from conditions in which too much emphasis on materialism corrupted your ability to enjoy life. You will see how you yourself... or someone significant in your situation ... placed too much stock in money, status, position, and other temporal trappings, possibly to the point of abusing himself (or herself!!) or others in his drive to succeed. The belief that this kind of "success" would make him happy will has proved false -- and yet it paved the way for a new level of spiritual awareness and enlightenment to emerge.

The energy of this card indicates the joyful experience of regaining your soul after a time of losing it -- or worse, giving it away -- for one reason or another. Abusive attitudes, practices, and circumstances end ... and better arrangements can now prevail.
