This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You are in a situation that involves confusion, anxiety, and upset. You may not know what to do or what to think. Your direction is unclear ... and you may have no good answers for the problems that still face you. This energy is the feeling of being "locked in," trapped, unable to accomplish anything to put your troubles behind you. You need to rethink your choices ... and change some of your fundamental attitudes. You may not have information you need ... or some of your thinking may be skewed and unproductive.

You feel irritated, exasperated, unable to find meaning -- or clarity. This is the sensation of trying to swim against the current ... and needing to make major adjustments in your opinions, ideas, viewpoints, and intellectual positions. You may not see a good way out of this dilemma at the moment ... or ways to compensate for the problems it is causing you, but at least at this point you are able to work with this energy openly and directly, trying to find ways out of the complications it adds to your issue.

In addition, you have come through conditions in which too much emphasis on materialism corrupted your ability to enjoy life. You are now able to see how you yourself... or someone significant in your situation ... placed too much stock in money, status, position, and other temporal trappings, possibly to the point of abusing himself (or herself!!) or others in his drive to succeed.

The belief that this kind of "success" would make him happy will has proved false -- and yet it paved the way for a new level of spiritual awareness and enlightenment to emerge. The energy of this card indicates the joyful experience of regaining your soul after a time of losing it -- or worse, giving it away -- for one reason or another. Abusive attitudes, practices, and circumstances end ... and better arrangements can now prevail.

You are having to cope with a lack in the quality or quantity of support you need to create the vision you have in mind. You may be teamed up with colleagues and allies that simply aren't up to the task at hand. Someone you depend on may let you down with a thud -- or some crucial element in your creation will not arrive or will not perform as required. You realize how crippling or awkward this situation is to your progress, and you have put your mind and information to work handling the challenges it presents.

You are coming to terms with time of sorrow or sadness over a relationship that ended or the processing of a serious disappointment. You may have decided to "take the bull by the horns" on this matter ... and resolve it to the point you can deal directly and openly with it now.

You are in a situation where you can use money and resources wisely. These are circumstances of prosperity where you receive what you deserve and are able to share the bounty with others. It may mark a moment of material gain or an upswing in prosperity. It's possible a gift is involved, or a return on past investments. It is a time of feeling well-off and able to make new investments of yourself and your assets in new projects and other people.

Your own generosity may be on full display -- or you may be the beneficiary of other people who are willing to lend support and help for things you want to accomplish. It's a time of reaping what you've sown -- and you find you have plenty. You may also be prompted to combine your resources with those of others for some effort of mutual gain.

You may also be given opportunities to "branch out" ... and either increase your income or diversify the sources from which it comes. These happy circumstances may not be fully clear to you at the moment ... or you may not be applying them to best advantage. Something about this bounty is still hidden, unused, or inaccessible.

Soon, you will find yourself in a situation of chaos and confusion where you may not be thinking clearly or realistically. You may be pushing your ideas at the wrong time or in the wrong way. You may not be getting the results you want ... or the respect you think you deserve. You may not know what you believe ... or even what to think at this point.

You may not be telling -- or receiving -- the truth about your circumstances. You may be acting on a bad idea or misinformation. You or someone influential in your situation may not be communicating well. You or someone influential in your situation may have a bad attitude. You may also face serious challenges to some idea you are working with.

Eventually, you will have to cope with someone who does not react well to having his ideas challenged or his opinions questioned. He (or she) is very forceful in his thinking ... but also very closed-minded and rigid. He may blame others rather than seek solutions, fail to show leadership, and fail to accept responsibility for the problems he creates with his attitudes ... and manner.

He is stern, strict, cruel, unjust, and uncaring. He may trigger these same responses in you -- or this energy may well be an inner part of you that comes to the surface to be noticed and adjusted.
