You have reached a significant conclusion and judge your work here complete and successful. There is a sense of release and renewal as you change your focus to another set of challenges -- complete with the new personal wisdom you've acquired. You are satisfied with your decisions and what you have accomplished. The eventual results here may, in fact, accrue to you as positive karma. You realize you are at completion.

Additionally, you are dealing with a lot of impatience. You may be making or have recently made some moves that were not well-considered and which do not have the support you need to make the most of the changes they bring. You could also be letting other people dominate your thinking and "make your decisions for you."

You are not considering your options, possibilities, responsibilities, resources, or abilities in ways that offer you the full range of available potentials. You may, instead, be kicking up misunderstandings, opposition ... or at the least a lack of cooperation from those you need to help you succeed in this present venture. You may also be coping with a lot of mixed messages and your own ambivalence.

As long as things are jumbled as they are regarding this energy of "missing alliances and no support," you might be wise to pause and wait for things to clear before proceeding. Right now you are not heading toward a successful result or the advantageous use of what you are working with.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you have decided to "go back to the drawing board" in terms of partners and allies, outside resources, or your own mixed feelings on this matter and try to reorganize this part of your situation into something more cohesive. There may not be much difference showing in the outside world yet, but you are making some important inner changes and behind the scenes adjustments that will be better in the long run.

If this meaning resonates strongly with you regarding your present situation, consider that it also is a message the card is suggesting for you to receive.

You are in a situation that contains heartbreak, sorrow, abuse, setbacks, and shattered emotions. This situation may also hold a lack of appreciation, betrayal, injury, separation, grief, and terrible disappointment. While on the surface this energy represents the heart and head at odds with one another ... the reality is often extremely painful.

Far more upsetting than your thoughts telling you one thing and your heart another, this energy usually contains disbelief that you have been treated so badly by someone you care for ... and the realization that you have to get over loving and needing someone who could hurt you this way.

This energy is that of being victimized, harmed, even brutalized physically or emotionally. It may also indicate you have done this to somebody else ... but either way there are karmic liabilities contained here -- and the eventual, inevitable backlash may be pretty severe.

This may be part of the current day conditions ... or it may be problems held over from an old piece of abusive personal history. In either case, it is "out in the open" where you are well aware of it -- and understand the complications it is bringing to your situation. In fact, it has your full attention at the moment -- perhaps as a way of defending yourself.

You are in a situation that involves the release of physical and financial assets. Something here has not paid off the way you expected it to ... or it cost you a lot more than you realized -- or hoped. On a positive note in releasing this money, you may have made a major purchase (although it's also possible what you "bought" was the sad wisdom of experience.) Or you may have "invested a lot of yourself" into something -- that may or may not yield the dividend you're looking for.

At the moment, indications are it won't give back what you intend -- but the investment may simply take more time to mature than you've realized. Presently, however, you have to work with the possibility that you are overspending; incurring money problems; investing yourself, your time, and your talents poorly. You may not be living up to your potential -- or achieving the gains you intend to make.

You may be jeopardizing yourself without realizing it ... or exhausting yourself to no ultimate benefit. At this point, however, you understand the dimensions of the situation you're working with ... and can cope with its results openly and directly.

You are in a situation that places an extremely heavy emphasis on material success, money, public status, and "creating the right image." This may involve experiences of serious discontent, depression, and even illness -- as this represents an extraordinary perversion of the natural desire for safety, honor, and respect. This energy turns the need for fame, reputation, achievement, and respect into an obsession ... which will stoop to force, coercion, manipulation, exploitation, and abuse in order to accomplish its ends.

This represents action without understanding, without compassion, without accountability, and without considering the results and effects of what one has set in motion. It often involved someone's overweening ego ... and actions taken out of inordinate pride or in order to "save face" or gain importance. There is a lack of consideration, a pervasive attitude of selfishness and concern for appearances that creates a miserable existence.

Life at this point is seriously off track and out of kilter -- and a major crash in order to make a course correction in these circumstances may loom before too long. You may be either the victim or the perpetrator of these conditions ... but regardless of which side of the equation you fall on, you need to get this fixed -- for everyone's sake.

You do harm even to the one you allow to treat you this way if you let this arrangement continue. You will do untold harm to yourself if you are the one putting this deplorable situation into motion in the first place. You may not see a good way out of this mess ... or how to compensate for the problems it is causing, or you may be in denial that it is happening at all. But it is causing you substantial harm as you work to resolve this issue ... and it needs to be confronted and corrected.

Before long, you will meet a helpful person or adopt a very beneficial set of attitudes. This person is intellectual, philosophical, profound, and studious. He (or she) is definitely a thinker ... perceptive, academic -- maybe kind of a bookworm.

He is interested in fairly sophisticated subjects ... like education, law, religion, theology, social problems, politics, spiritual subjects. He is either fairly young ... or may have recently started out on a new level of study and education -- either self-directed or formal. He may still need a little time to "season" in this field.

He is an independent thinker, a good communicator, someone who enjoys learning, investigation, and research. He may have a quiet, "watchful," observant personality. He may not be terribly forward or self-promoting, but he definitely knows what he thinks ... and how to handle information. He is a deep, incisive thinker, strong-minded, intellectually adventurous, smart, literate, mentally alert, a person of solid opinions.

He may be a good teacher and a good debater if you draw him out into such discussion. He is objective, fair, concerned with issues of fairness ... and loves an intellectual challenge. Questions without easy, pat answers appeal to him.

This energy may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality coming to the forefront to aid you or promote their own further development. It may also represent good news about something you think, it may provide information or a piece of knowledge you need to have, or it may "fill in the blanks" on some intellectual concern. It may also give you a chance to exchange ideas with someone who shares your interests -- or teach you something new. This energy deals frequently in written or spoken messages.

You are moving toward a resolution to this matter that involves money problems, material hindrance, uncontrolled spending, obstacles, and delays in your financial life. The energy here is "not enough money," a shaky position, material lack, and feeling victimized, exploited, powerless, and "taken advantage of."
