This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You've come to a point where you can reinstate reality on an intellectual level. This often means someone has owned up to the truth, made amends, and come to terms honestly with what has happened in the past. You may have given credit to someone you treated unfairly or apologized to someone you harmed. Or someone who has mistreated or slighted you has set the record straight.

Recognition and credit have been given ... if belatedly. Balance is restored. There is greater understanding and honesty in circumstances where misunderstanding, rationalization, deception and even outright lies have previously existed. You can make better, clearer choices -- because at last you're acting on the truth.

You can clarify the information you're working with and allow atonements to happen. You, or someone else, can listen, get the message, learn the lesson, and accept the necessary consequences of past actions. At last, you are no longer fooling yourself, accepting pretty "cover stories," or living in fantasies that have no connection to reality.

It may have been a long unhappy road that brought you here ... but here is a better place to be, and now you can use its advantages to your own benefit.

Also, you are in a time of reckoning and resolution in this matter. There is a rebalancing of the Cosmic Scales ... and a sense of justice and equilibrium restored. There may be somehow a sense of a "fair verdict" delivered, or "judgment rendered," or some other kind of legally binding or contractual arrangement that formalizes this closure.

This is a time of being centered, truthful, diplomatic, honest, fair, and grounded. It may involve mediating some dispute ... or reaching conditions of cooperation and compromise.

You have financial and physical assets enough to cope. You also have good values, good common sense, faith in yourself, a grounded perspective, and a resourceful, resilient spirit. You need to use these to your advantage now.

You are in a time of major change, a time when some elements are ending completely and better -- or at least different -- circumstances are taking their place. This is a time of deep, necessary change ... and then, of course, the inevitable regeneration and improvement. This is an asset you can use to your advantage now, if you work with it openly and honestly.

You are in a place where confusion, indecision, and stagnation prevail. Your own weak will and ineptitude in dealing with this new situation -- or the developments that come in your present situation -- will be a major handicap in your ability to make progress into something better.

You may have to cope with a lack of wisdom, shallow and inadequate knowledge, incorrect information, improper focus, a willingness to offer or settle for "easy answers," poor concentration ... and maybe outright lies. This is an energy of mediocrity and incompetence, dancing around the truth, rationalizing, dissembling, covering up, and "putting on a front."

It suggests living in the shallows, being uninspired and uninspiring, being bored and depressed, not sharing what you know ... or not having anything worth sharing. A lack of planning, lack of attention to details, poor organization and initiative, and intellectual pomposity may be on prominent display.

You may find this energy present in another person you have to manage -- or work around. You may also find these qualities in yourself coming out in the open where you have to confront and correct them. Whichever way this happens, you need to get this taken care of.

At this point, your own inability to think straight and act on sound decisions is working against you -- and costing you more than you realize. You may not see a good way out of this situation ... or a way to compensate adequately for it. You may also be in denial that it is happening to the extent it is.

Soon, you will have a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes to deal with. This person is intolerant, temperamental, pompous, conceited, vain, and full of empty ambitions -- great plans that come to nothing. He (or she) wants things handed to him without effort ... and may be dealing with low self-esteem, poor impulse control, defensiveness, and jealousy.

The attitudes present in this situation include selfishness, impulsiveness, bossiness, and anger -- often poorly controlled anger. This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected.

Alternatively: You may have to reconsider the direction you are taking and the kind of leadership you are offering yourself with your choices and goals. Something about your vision and ambitions may be off-track -- either the intensity with which you are pursuing wrong-headed decisions or the lack of commitment you have to your own declared intentions.

If you resonate more emphatically to this possibility than to the presence of a difficult person as described above, you may consider this suggestion to be the message this card is offering you.

Ultimately you are heading into a situation where a problematic personality or attitude has considerable negative influence. This involves someone living in a dream world, someone who emphasizes the fact that he (or she!) is "fragile," "sensitive," "refined," and "artistic" as a way to escape real life problems and responsibilities. This is someone who expects too much and gives too little and who doesn't know how to conduct balanced emotional relationships.

This is someone who wants to be loved without being loving, who gets his feelings hurt easily, who is manipulative, who "plays mind games," who looks for trouble and sees insults and slights where none were intended. This person is lazy, lonely, "victimized," and may have psychological and possibly addictive problems. He wastes time. He doesn't use his talent. He doesn't try anything ... because he's convinced he's fail, it won't turn out well, it's not worth the trouble, etc.

Depression may be a problem ... as may paranoia and anxiety. This person is insecure, thoughtless, and irresponsible. This may arrive in the form of another person -- who triggers negative responses of a similar nature in you. Or it may turn out to be an inner part of you all along -- a personality constellation that has come to the surface for attention and adjustment.

Alternatively: This card's energy can also indicate you need to look within yourself for new sources of pleasure and creative expression. A new level, a new round of expression, regarding your own sense of joy, artistry, and emotional satisfaction is waiting to make itself known to you. If this meaning resonates more strongly with you than the description of the person above, then consider this as the card's primary message.
