This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are in a situation where timing problems are a significant factor. You feel delayed, stagnant, blocked and frustrated -- as if you are making no progress and not moving forward at all. You may "start pushing," trying to force something out of impatience ... perhaps unwisely. You may also show a lack of tact and diplomacy. You may feel the need to act out of your own pressures -- or to overcome the opposition you face. However, your anger and impulsiveness may backfire.

You may find you are trying to move in the wrong direction. This energy suggests ruthless, impulsive, ill-advised action. You may be pushing for a result prematurely, or "getting ahead of yourself," not understanding what you're doing or where you are going, or moving in the wrong direction. However, this card also suggests timidity and ill-advised hesitation. So you may not be pushing something that requires more decisive action to break the stalemate.

This is a confusing, "mixed message" situation ... where you almost have to "go against your impulse" in order to do what is best -- to wait when you want to get going ... and "force the issue" when you are inclined to hold back. The ambivalence and lack of clarity itself may be a problem, and the accumulation of your past tactics, choices, and viewpoints may have contributed quite a bit to the current aggravation.

You are in a time of rebirth, glorious opportunities, and new beginnings. This may be the start of a whole new set of adventures and creative expression -- or you may be moving on to something finer and more exciting that is a continuation of where you are presently, built on the foundation of your own wisdom and achievements to this point.

You are coping with someone who does not react well to having his ideas challenged or his opinions questioned. He (or she) is very forceful in his thinking ... but also very closed-minded and rigid. He may blame others rather than seek solutions, fail to show leadership, and fail to accept responsibility for the problems he creates with his attitudes ... and manner.

He is stern, strict, cruel, unjust, and uncaring. He may trigger these same responses in you -- or this energy may well be an inner part of you that comes to the surface to be noticed and adjusted. You may not see a good way to neutralize or compensate for the problems this person causes -- but at least the matter is out in the open where you can deal with its stresses honestly. You are very aware of the influence this is injecting into your situation.

You are faced with a set of problems caused by someone who is immature, who has a bad self-image, a negative attitude, or no self-confidence or motivation. This may be another person who has influence in your situation ... or it may be a part of yourself you are having to cope with and realign.

You may not think there is much you can do about this situation ... but at least it's out in the open where you can deal with it deliberately and directly.

You are working with a situation that features a lack of initiative, low energy levels, confusion, low self-esteem, and a sense of defeat. Your situation may also contain attitudes of vanity, arrogance, self-absorption, disagreements, and disappointment. You ... or someone in your situation ... may be trying to control others for your own ends.

This is an energy of depression, narrow-thinking, and emptiness. You may feel a lack of purpose, a lack of creativity, a lack of joy. It is possible you are misusing personal energy ... and yet still not gaining the positive respect or attention of others you are seeking. You may not fully understand the impact this energy is having on your situation -- or you may not yet see any way or solving it.

Before long, you may meet someone as a result of this situation. It exists in the presence of a powerful person of character and integrity who commands considerable influence and force. This could be another person ... someone whose leadership abilities and dedication to self-actualized goals are a compelling part of his nature, someone who leads by example ... and sets a most impressive tone with the choices he makes in his own life.

This influence, if it comes in another person, is charismatic, effective, authoritative, and brave. He (or she!) is a good counselor and a person of sound moral fortitude. He is someone you can both count on and confide in, independent, responsible, and solid. He will activate some of the best of these qualities in you, and provide an example of how you can grow along these lines, too.

Keep in mind, this energy may exist as a composite of several people ... if you don't see one definite example of this candor and strength among your immediate associates. This powerful influence may also be one of your own inner selves that has come to the forefront of your attention to help you ... and itself ... evolve and improve as you work through this issue.

If you don't find this clearly available in another person or people in your outer world, look within. This energy is waiting to meet you there. It is what will attract these others into your life to act as aids and allies if you need them. It can have a strong influence on your opinions, views, and choices in this matter.

Eventually, you will need some time to fantasize, dream, brainstorm ... and refocus your intentions. You may find yourself in a period of indecision, confusion, and inertia ... where fantasy is preferable to reality, and the ability to act is hindered by a lack of clear direction. You may need to concentrate, be realistic, and not get lost in wishful thinking -- or simply spinning your wheels ... and getting nowhere. There is also a danger of becoming lost in a fantasy world ... or in addictive pursuits that, in the end, gain you nothing.
