This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You are in a time of rebirth, glorious opportunities, and new beginnings. This may be the start of a whole new set of adventures and creative expression -- or you may be moving on to something finer and more exciting that is a continuation of where you are presently, built on the foundation of your own wisdom and achievements to this point.

You have new sources of income and new professional opportunities you can use and work with to your own benefit. You are beginning a new effort of material creation ... which could eventually bring an improved lifestyle -- and more healthful conditions -- as well as more money and better tangible results to show for your investment of time and energy.

You have been forced into a lonely, isolated position ... probably for your own eventual good, but you may not like this at all. This may be the result of your failure to listen to good advice and wisdom -- especially that of your own conscience. You may have to consider this a lesson in your ongoing development .. a way to deepen your maturity and your connection to your own Inner Wisdom.

You may, however, need to confront your own foolish vices and choices, your childish dependencies, and your stubborn refusal to learn. Possibly your refusal (or failure) to share your ideas -- or hear the voice of your own inner wisdom has brought you to an impasse. You will need to get back in touch with your true essence ... and give up your absorption with ego concerns and transient matters in the outer world.

There may be no way for you to overcome this condition, use this situation to good advantage, or compensate for the problems it causes you, but at least you have these attitudes and habits out in the open where you can confront and work with them consciously. It has your full attention.

You are in circumstances where you feel unhappy, dissatisfied, "incomplete," and strained. You may also be coping with loneliness or "being in a rut" that keeps you from moving forward to another level of experience and challenge. Possibly there is a chronic problem you haven't solved yet or a situation you haven't yet brought to closure. There is a heavy energy of dissatisfaction that permeates your world ... of something that just isn't yet what you want it to be.

You may want to release something -- but are unable to. Or you may be holding onto something because it is not what you want it to be yet ... and therefore the foundation you need to move on to another level ... or another situation ... isn't in place to support new growth. Either way, this unfinished business ... and the stagnation in which it exists ... continues.

You are aware of this influence ... and able to work with it openly and directly. That may be all the good you can say about it, though.

You are faced with a set of problems caused by someone who is immature, who has a bad self-image, a negative attitude, or no self-confidence or motivation. This may be another person who has influence in your situation ... or it may be a part of yourself you are having to cope with and realign.

You may not yet realize the extent to which this is causing your trouble ... or you may not think there is much you can do about these matters. You may not know this energy is present in your situation ... or you may be in denial about its consequences.

Before long, you will find yourself in a position of strength ... where you are able to use your own force, fortitude, and power to great advantage. This energy contains tremendous energy, steadfastness, and self-confidence. You are accessing abundant sources of inner power ... and using this to your own benefit out in the real world. You are willing to take on challenging projects ... and you have the determination to follow them through to success.

A "personality factor" is also coming into play ... from someone who is fussy, complaining, overly sensitive, paranoid, frustrated, and emotionally undisciplined. This person may be often over-wrought and fretful, obsessive, clinging, and demanding of sympathy and "support" from loved ones -- while offering very little in the way of compassion or even self-control in return.

Alternatively: This card could be suggesting that you need to practice more diligent self-care, be more aware of your own need for love, compassion, and emotional support. Often it comes when life and the demands of those in your relationships have exhausted your resources to the point that you need to pull back, take time out for recuperation, and replenish yourself.

You need to become your own best friend for a while ... and restore yourself to the point that you can be that for others again. This may not happen overnight ... but the fact is, you can't give away what you don't have for yourself in the first place -- and it's time to fortify your inner self, in whatever actions are needed, so that you can become a positive source of support for yourself and those you love ... again.
