It often involved someone's overweening ego ... and actions taken out of inordinate pride or in order to "save face" or gain importance. There is a lack of consideration, a pervasive attitude of selfishness and concern for appearances that creates a miserable existence.

Life at this point is seriously off track and out of kilter -- and a major crash in order to make a course correction in these circumstances may loom before too long. You may be either the victim or the perpetrator of these conditions ... but regardless of which side of the equation you fall on, you need to get this fixed -- for everyone's sake.

You do harm even to the one you allow to treat you this way if you let this arrangement continue. You will do untold harm to yourself if you are the one putting this deplorable situation into motion in the first place. You may not see a good way out of this mess ... or how to compensate for the problems it is causing, but at least at this point you do understand this is happening ... and that it needs to be corrected ASAP.

You are in a situation where you are determined to play by your own rules, rebel against the status quo, and do your own thing instead of just placidly doing as you're told. You may be dealing with unconventional ideas and implementing solutions that show considerable free thinking. In this situation, your independence is paramount ... and you may go to substantial lengths to maintain it, even if this isn't the most popular thing to do.

You are in a situation that is confused, stalled, frustrating, blocked, and which doesn't let you live up to your potential. A lack of leadership, vision, personal commitment, and no overall sense of objectives or direction hinders any further growth or progress for the moment.

You may also be dealing with uncooperative attitudes from others ... and from life itself. You are wasting yourself on this merry-go-round ... and wasting your time, resources, and abilities. Realize, too, how much this stagnation affects your thinking, your choices, and your ability to make good decisions. You may have a defeatist attitude or be working with ideas that are "never going to get off the ground." In any case, this energy is having considerable impact on your outlook at the moment, and you need to correct what you can -- or find ways to compensate for the lack of vitality present here. The sooner, the better -- even if that means backing up and starting over again from scratch.

The lack of joy in your situation, the blocked emotional fulfillment, frustration, and depression are all too evident. You may be facing a lack of real love, manipulation of yourself or others "in the name of love," and a deep sense of genuine unhappiness. You are not doing anything you enjoy. You don't trust your situation -- or the conditions in it.

You feel you lack the necessary support of others around you ... and the basic pleasures you have a right to expect. You may feel unwanted, abandoned, deceived, unsupported, and unable to offer love and support to others. You ... or someone in your situation ... may be "taking and using" -- and that will exhaust everyone concerned before long. About the only positive thing present in this situation is the fact is it now out in the open ... where you can work with it directly.

While on the surface this energy represents the heart and head at odds with one another ... the reality is often extremely painful.

Far more upsetting than your thoughts telling you one thing and your heart another, this energy usually contains disbelief that you have been treated so badly by someone you care for ... and the realization that you have to get over loving and needing someone who could hurt you this way.

This energy is that of being victimized, harmed, even brutalized physically or emotionally. It may also indicate you have done this to somebody else ... but either way there are karmic liabilities being formed here -- and the eventual, inevitable backlash may be pretty severe.

Long term, you will be forced to confront a serious loss or bitter disappointment, something you may have tried hard not to acknowledge. This may involve circumstances of ruin, defeat, betrayal, failure, -- even to the point of being "stabbed in the back."

This is an energy of severe trouble and misfortune -- bringing extreme unhappiness, suffering, sorrow, frustration, and anguish. It may involve irreplaceable losses, a crisis of faith, and a sense of the world collapsing around you. It may represent the complete destruction of something you have counted on and worked for -- possibly because you have been acting on bad information or trusting the wrong people.

The upshot here is likely total devastation from which the only choice is "starting over."
